Raf555
is it possible to have the remote feature as well as have control of switching them on and off with the use of the sidelight switch?
///Marty
is it possible to have the remote feature as well as have control of switching them on and off with the use of the sidelight switch? It is possible. If you buy the Uminitza angel eyes (which are more expensive) they come with the wiring to set it up. You can also control the rings independantly and have just the inner rings or just the outer rings illuminated. Think there is a wiring kit you can buy which will make other manufatcurers angel eyes come on and off with the interior lights ie, when you lock/unlock the car but it's about £30 IIRC. Also seem to remember Sam saying he knew how to do it by tapping a feed into the light control module but don't know if he managed to find the wiring diagram. - Sam??? Raf555
just a quick tip when installing the eyes make sure if you can put a strip foil behind each ring as this helps to make the white light more clear with no blur therfore illuninates as a pure circle!! i did this to mine and got a nice clear white light... i cant say how much difference it is to ones without foil as i put mine on with them.... but would like to see comparisons!! These are not my DIY's just some that helped me. I would have done one but never had the time. Hope this helps anyone else wanting to do it.
