  1. Thanks for the response everyone. I gave it another go at clipping it in, it was 100% connected properly... still popped off! I've dropped it off at a German specialist this morning, his initial thought was the actuator might be open, as E46_CD_Ads mentioned... Waiting to hear back now with a definate answer... probably looking at around £1k for a new turbo and fitting though.
  2. I've re-fitted the pipe before but this time it's not having it. There's a definite "click" as it snaps into position, I can't see why it isn't holding. I'll give it another go tomorrow when it's light. Thanks
  3. Hi, I'm having some issues with my intercooler hose, (charge airline), it keeps popping off where it meets the intercooler connection (Near-side). I've replaced the bottom section of the hose, so there's a brand new connection, as the lugs was worn previously. I've bought a new Spring clip from BMW too. Yet, it stills pops off when putting my foot down (hard 1st to 2nd). Has anyone else had this problem? Once I've put the clip on, it feels very secure when I'm tugging the pipe, by hand. Is there a "knack" to fitting this clip? Thanks, Adrian
  4. Seen this on CarThrottle. His "fast spec" bit got annoying, but worth watching anyway. http://www.carthrottle.com/why-the-bmw-e46-330ci-is-the-official-car-of-id-like-to-speak-to-your-manager/
  5. I love dogs, but I can't fault the officer at all. If a dog is barking and coming towards you and your colleagues, put it down if you fear for your safety. Sure he could have used a taser, but maybe he didn't have one on him, or he just instinctively went for his gun, within reach. He doesn't know if the dog is vicious, or if it can be tamed by even his owner. Remember a lot of poor neighbourhoods will own dogs purely for protection, and owners will train them to be vicious, the police know this, and don't want to take risks. It was horrible seeing it rolling about, but if you had a weapon in the same situation, I'd bet the majority of you would do the same.
  6. I did mine Gold, I think it works well with a Silver Grey BMW. I used Hammerite. (Hammered, not smooth) I painted mine whilst they was still on the car, but didn't bother painting the pads. To clean them up, I used a wire brush on a drill. Halfords link
  7. They're experts. Yeh they're pricey, but worth it.
  8. CSL rep', just missing... Splitters Grilles Wheels Steering wheel Rear view mirror Amazing.
  9. Looks like one of them things you fasten balloons to.
  10. Yeh that's a good point! Lol I might treat myself to one, the glare was the only thing putting me off but like you say, probably be watching the road anyway..
  11. How do you find the Eonon in the day time? Does the sunlight make the screen hard to see?
  12. Good little write up, the functionality, price and quality is perfect. But it's a little bulky for my liking.
  13. David Thorne has posted some good stuff over the years. A couple more of his I like... http://www.27bslash6.com/overdue.html http://www.27bslash6.com/missy.html
  14. I've heard a lot of bad things about Yodel online, but I must have had 10+ deliveries from them with no problems at all. I guess all companies can have s**t workers, luck of the draw. But the image above which is floating about will be fake, there's hundreds like that, you'd have to be a fool to believe them. Jim27, that's horrendous! Did you report it to customer services?
