  1. Gave the inside a proper clean which was long overdue, treated the leather and cleaned all the glass inside and out, used some back to black on the faded mirror surround plastic which worked a treat and now looks like new
  2. Sailed through the MOT yesterday and only 1 comment from the tester that there was a tiny bit of surface corrosion on the rear brake pipes, straight onto the ramp next to it and sorted Looks pretty good under there for 15 years old and 75600 miles

    Sorry for my late reply, its an open diff in my car so ignore the question but thanks for the responses guys
  4. The filter housing gasket/seal failed a couple of days ago, it split and oil everywhere on the inlet side of the block, cleaned up the mess as best as we could and changed the seal.

    He got the oil from my chassis number so i can't see that being wrong, i'm not paying £35 a litre for it thats for sure. i'll speak to Noel at NCB Autokraft and see what he recommends

    Just spoke to my local BMW dealer and its £35 for 1 litre !!! the diff holds 1 litre He's just told me its sealed for life set up on those so should i bother changing it ?

    I'm just on Opie's site now and it doesn't mention LSD's, i've popped my reg in and its come up with my car and lists one option of Motul Gear 300 synthetic 75w90
  9. I've had a search but thought i'd get your input on what oil you use in the lsd diffs 2004 330 Ci M sport
  10. Mines all good now and works as it should off the key or the buttons in the car
  11. My 04 330 vert is still on the original springs but its only done 73k I had an issue with the roof the other day not wanting to open and the red light flashing between the open & close buttons, its fixed itself and working fine today so not sure what that was, a sticky censor perhaps ?

  13. Hope you get paid out, i'd have a very close look at the wheel and the tyre, especially if the wheels are cast Aluminium. The roads are a joke, even major roads inc motorways are in a shocking state

  15. ATF changed yesterday, the transmission guy who did it said the old fluid looked in good condition he also plugged into the car and no faults recorded so all good news

  19. The nsf hose had a small cut in it, the rest were fine, i got a pair of front ATE hoses delivered for £19 job done

    Found a nice splitter by JH parts but they want nearly £400 for it posted to my address.
