  1. I love how your videos are ranting about bad driving, and then you go and block a junction off in the second video when stopping behind traffic (just after Captain Overtaker turns off)... Brilliant [emoji106]
  2. I'm sorry for spamming for post Wolfe, and I've no doubt your a nice guy pirate, but I've never heard such tripe in my entire life!!! My cousin was offered 9k part ex for a 57 plate S3, with every conceivable extra, running 371.8bhp (with rolling road to prove) when he was looking for a Range Rover Sport. That car is not only newer, better spec'd, and more desirable than your car but would also rip your car to shreds on the road and track. I refuse to beleive that ANYONE would offer 11k for a 5 door e46 regardless of the mods you've done - that is fact. Slightly aggressive post, cars only worth what some ones daft enough to pay hence £50'000 m3csl,s, and on the track Well who knows , Back in 2008 I sold a mk 1 escort for £25'000 at bonhams completely stupid,at a lot of others at daft prices if some one wants it they pays silly money. Why do they pay £40'000 for split screen campers ? No aggression was intended. I just refuse to beleive a Trader would offer 11k against a 2002 BMW Saloon in part ex. I agree that a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it but a trader, who's sole business is to make a profit on cars, offering that much for a modified 330? A mk1 escort and VW split screens are at the complete opposite end of the spectrum. They are collectors cars with a cult following, the same as a CSL - that is why they demand a premium to the collectors. A 5dr e46 will never be a collectors car. I really don't mean to offend you - you seem a genuinely lovely guy, very knowledgeable and a massive asset to this forum BUT you do have a habit of taking over everyone's elses threads with tales of how great/fast your car is and what you plan to buy for it next. It's only my own personal opinion but I would much rather see you make more posts in your own build thread so I can track your modifications in a single place, and praise your progress.

  4. I love this car, but I have to agree with Salim mate. If it was 100-110k I'd still be in two minds about paying such strong money for it, let alone the milage it's on - a year or so of good mileage and it will be on 200k+. Good luck with the sale though buddy [emoji106]
  5. I wouldn't know to be honest mate. I've never dyno'd it myself, but I did buy it from a member on here. There was no mention of a rolling road though, and definitely no print out in the carrier bag of paperwork and invoices I got with it.
  6. Do you need us to PayPal a deposit buddy? If so let me know your addy [emoji106]
  7. I always forget to update this thread so, as I was getting some stuff out of the boot, I thought I'd post a pic of the A5 (A4) tips I fitted during the week
  8. My mate got hold of a set of genuine MV4's for £200 for the fact that two had cracked and been welded. What surprised me is that it was both rears had cracked, even though they were running standard tyre sizes. Reps get a bad name for being made of poor quality alloy, but I can't see them being any worse than the standard BMW wheels.
  9. [emoji215] [emoji215] [emoji215] [emoji215] [emoji215]
  10. And I also apologised as I'd misinterpreted your 'relevant' comment, but Sam deleted that and not my first post [emoji106]
  11. That's not a bad plan. They are fractionally off centre as you need to cut between the 2x retaining clips inside the new trims so they will still fasten on tight. This is literally MM's at best though, so you can't notice at all when they are on the car. I'll grab a picture in a bit [emoji106]
  12. Finally fitted the A4 (well, A5 as it happens) exhaust tips that I bought from my neighbour for £10. He was laughing when we put them on as I now have A5 tips attached to 330 tips, which are attached to the standard exhaust tips... So tips on tips on tips [emoji15] You can still see the standard tips if your really look for them closely, but the backend looks a thousand times better for putting them on. Je suis Charlie
  13. Umm... Isn't this the opinion of someone who has actually owned one? You got what you asked for. All because the opinion isn't what you wanted to hear doesn't mean that it's not relevant. A "thank you, but my mind is set on a V8" would of been far more polite!!
