  3. Oddly that's kinda what I want, I love a raspy exhaust note. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I've just swapped mine from a 5 to a 6 as running a higher ratio final drive and wanted better cruising speeds. You need gearbox, propshaft, mounts, and all the gearstick and brackets plus clutch and flywheel, inc flywheel bolts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Here kitty kitty, come meet my grinder Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, the unsprung weight of these was quite appealing, and the quality really is superb, plus they are semi floating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Sorry for the delay, front discs were £125 each, rear discs were £82 each. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Mate that's an epic read, I've skimmed through it, what's the name of the BMW museum or head quarters ? I wanna go there next month Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It should just be blanked off mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. In for wheel alignment, again..... I've really got to stop changing things [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The rear bumper is actually very easy to remove, would be quicker to take it off and not struggle to try and replace the sensors. Mine have intermittently worked for years, finally brought a set from eBay, and still having issues. The Ines I got needed to be painted, and they are very sensitive to the thickness of the paint. I've since just unplugged fuse 24. If you do want them working, I advise you bite the bullet and book it in at BMW, there sensors come painted, plus you'll get free coffee [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So finally taken the plunge on some track focused rubber, gone with YOKOHAMA AD08R's, had a go in my mates Renault Megane R26 at Snetterton, he had these fitted and the grip levels were immense. Also ordered a set of BIMECC wheel spacers, 12mm front and 15mm rears. Should see it sitting rather menacingly [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Currently available in ASDA plus a few other retailers, "MODERN CLASSICS" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Fingers crossed this doesn't go deeper for you [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I will look at my invoice later, they have done many trackdays so far, using different pads and haven't even shown a sign of cracking, I've had various other discs crack. Money well spent in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. I gave Orangestuff a go last week at Snetterton, great pads, £160 a set, but they don't last long Work well from cold also, not road legal.... yet...... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Stock engine, snapping driveshafts, you must be driving like a plonker ? Try backing off the throttle when exiting a junction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. No slop In my gear linkage thankfully, I replaced 2,7,10, that's actually the diagram for a 5 speed, the 6 is quite different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I found the cause of the vibrations to be from the duraflex gearbox mounts I had installed at the same time, swapped them out for the stock ones and all vibrations have practically gone [emoji106] Didn't go too well at Snetterton, had a bit of an issue as kept filling the oil catch can, then had a blow out at over 100mph [emoji15] So that put an end to the evening for me. To be fair the P-Zero's have done me proud but think I have pushed them too hard as sidewalls were just folding on me. They then caught the HSD coilovers adjustable ARB bracket and ripped that all off too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. How's this going Goran ? Read this on Facebook and it reminded me about yours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The flywheel is great [emoji106] CG don't do a sprung clutch plate for the 6 speed, looked everywhere but couldn't find one. So It's going to be interesting tomorrow at Snetterton, will see if the vibrations drive me mad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I swapped out my OEM suspension, car had only done 58k, went with the EIBACH/BILSTEIN combo just as you described. The difference was night and day, fantastic ride quality and lowered the car about 20mm. Mines a 330 Clubsport, I'm now running HSD coilovers as wanted something stiffer for track work, the ride of the coilovers is crap compared to the EIBACH/BILSTEIN set up. 25. MTEC have cracked on my Rx8, my friends Type R and a MX5, admittedly that is hard track use. We're all running genuine discs now with blue stuff pads (I'm just trying a set of orangestuff on Thursday) and the results have been superb. Plus BMW offer a performance disc which I have, and they have been excellent over many trackdays and thousands of road miles. I just pop in BREMBO pads for road use FYI and save the BLUESTUFF for track work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
