Hi

My name's Dave, serial 3 series owner with 2 E36's and 3 E46's to my name. Currently smoking about in a 320d with 260k on the clock and running like a Swiss watch.

Just bought a 330ci vert for my wife and weekend family fun.

I like to do my own maintenance but I'm no expert so I ask questions.

I'll kick her off

I’m based near oxford, Car is used by my girlfriend for work. Its a 323Ci SE which we bought 8 months ago.

We've had the sub frame tear issue, which was fixed 100% by BMW. Apart from that it’s a good car. Possibly looking to get a face-lift E46 330(maybe) later on this year/next.

Get your ugly mug up on our photo thread, HERE!

Hi all. New member here. Just bought my first e46 and spent the weekend getting her ready! 2001, 80k miles and a lovely interior that even feels and smells new. Not sure what’s up next as enjoying the car as it is. Any ideas? Anyway, best regards from Cyprus

Hello. I am Brenda. I don't live in the Uk but I join practically every thing that is about e46s. I have a 2005 330xi and I really enjoy it. I bought it a couple years ago and it only has 70,000 miles on it now. 57,000 when I bought it. I used to have a 2004 325i plane jane model , I liked it also but my 05 has all bells and whistles.

I live in Washington state USA. I am 56 yrs old and 1 child. No grands yet.

I love heavy metal, rap, even some country music.

A couple of my hobbies are rock hounding and looking for drift wood.

But what I love to do the most is drive my car. I love how it handles, how I never have to worry if it will have enough power to be able to get pass the car I'm passing. How it is nice and solid on the road.

   Peace to All,

         B.

I'm in my mid 30s, based in Birmingham and picked up my first bmw over the weekend (a 2002 330ci). The e46 coupe has always been a bit of a bucket list car for me. The drive home was a dream, I've started to notice a few things that need tinkering with but I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty!

To those that don't know me, was on here for quite a few years with an Imola 330Ci convertible. it had more wheels and interiors that i can remember, however always regretted selling it. pics as below. on the hunt over the next few months for wither a 330Ci, or Cd vert, lets see what happens

 Hi all

Recently picked up a 320cd se for £600 which although far from perfect is actually in much better condition than you would assume for any £600 car. I was really after a 330ci auto after having that setup in an e39 sport and loving it but ended up with this because of the price.

I would be interested to know what is the best way to tighten up the gear change (it's a 6mt)? It's a bit sloppy, loose and vague and my biggest gripe with the driving experience at the moment. I don't want to just slap a short shift kit on it and it still feel sloppy just shorter shifts. Would it be worth rebushing the linkage and could anyone recommend me a kit?

Cheers
