Gaz
That E46's steering wheel looks pap! It's ruined the interior IMO. I will admit to having a momo wheel on my mini, but the interior of that was basic anyway.
Jorge-
That E46 is on bags so not always that low, and a bit more sensible. But I dont think it ruins the interior, if you have the standard crappy wheel from early 46s I'd consider it. Its perforated leather like standards... Gaz
I guess that's what the buttons on the centre console are then? Mine was purely a comment about the wheel. I get your point that a standard E46 wheel is crap, but I'd much rather go for a sport wheel than that. He's lost radio controls, bluetooth, cruise control and an airbag. Cruise control/radio controls are something I use all the time. And an airbag I've never used but if I ever have a bad crash I'd hope to use it
Jorge-
I thought the early base spec wheels had none of those? I know his car isn't one of those, but if you look at the AC panel, its not even got AC lol Either way, should be sorting out a meet with the guy soon, and another low E46 down MK way next month on Stanceworks, so I'll have to let you know how it looks in person. Gaz
Ah good point actually, I didn't think about that. I guess the old ones wouldn't have had the mod cons. I forget how old E46's can be sometimes! If you fancy an extra head give em a shout I'll be running lower by then

n1k_ns
Didn't you used to say bags are for fags...... Stuff like that is supergay imo Maybe if I was 16 years old living in South Central LA? Edited January 17, 2011 by n1k_ns
Gaz
Maybe I'm one of those people? I've never really looked in to it. As far as I see it, you start the car, raise the suspension and you're off. You park, lower the suspension then turn the car off. All seems a bit too Citroen CX for my liking. Jorge-
Bags are for fags, I don't think I'd ever run them myself. His actual driving height according to pics posted up is about 20mm higher, still lower than my car sits, but it just means if you come upto a bump you can flick one of them switches and go over it no problems. Park up and have the car touching the ground.
Natedogg
josh's car rocks! there my old style 32's that were on my loon. he's a top kid (sub 25) as well and saved like buggery to afford the car and air ride. his old polo was static on 3 piece oz wheels. this is just him moving on and up in the world. his car is a billy basic 318, so no gay buttons on bus sized steering wheel to lose anyway (same as me) momo team 280 steering wheels rock. period. i want one. badly.
