Kacper
Hello, I found a nice set of wheels for my E46 Coupe. Right now I have 18" MV2s. The wheels I found are 19" 8.5j ET43 all round. Is there going to be any problem with the fitting? Also is it a good idea to have 8.5j on both axels? cheers!
Daz 330 Cs
No problems at all there, if you've not bought them yet look for a staggered set. 8.5J all round is still fine though.
Kacper
What are the benefits of staggered set up?
Azzer3
I know this is an old topic, but the response and knowledge on it is fantastic. I need some help (usually why people post I know). I have an e46 coupe and looking at some Oz wheels. I want to check that these will fit. Front wheels - 18 x 8 / offset 30 / 5 x 112 & 5 x 120 Tyres 225 40 18 Rear wheels - 18 x 9 / offset 40 / 5 X 112 & 5 X120 Tyres 255 35 18 I haven't lowered my suspension at all yet. Any help would be greatly received. Aaron

Aaron Hi Aaron, The correct size for these cars is 5x120 but the size of the wheels width and offset) are fine for those axles - the rear tyres will be close but should be fine on standard suspension.... but will be close. You could take the rear tyre size down to 245/35 or 235/35 to be safe. Otherwise all good!! But if you go a lot lower on the suspension then you may need to roll the arches at some point. Cheers:) Azzer3
Azzer3
Thanks rich. Yeah I feel.its fairly close and was thinking worse comes to it to roll the arches. I did look at the e90 BBS Motorsport wheels, but they seemed awful close on fitment. Not sure what to do, risk it or stay safe and get some clubsports . Azzer3
That's the results I got for the wheels I've seen. 8j at the front I can't imagine will be a problem even with et30 Opinions appreciated as I can see the results but they don't register. It seems fine but I'm unsure. Edited February 25, 2017 by Azzer3
