dazza
Bought a new set of wheels and tyres for the e90, I had planed not to do anything with this one but the excuse of a cracked wheel changed my mind for me
sebgreen
Yep, exactly what i had. I could see the water drip out of the washer below the headlight. If you remove the nozzle from the end of the telescopic arm, the washer fluid pisses out, so theres a small amount of pressure.....and you know water, needs no excuse to escape Replacement telescopic arms are £42 each from BMW. They only usually carry one in stock at a time though, well my local one does. I had the same issue first time i used it Turns out, my prep wasn't too good. Wheels need to be spotless, i washed, then used Bilberry, Tardis, Iron-X, clay barred, polished, IPA'd, then finally, time for C5. Not properly cleaned my car since I did my wheels with wheel armour. L333JSA
What was it bad? Well this is the staining on the rim after I'd washed them 6 days after I'd applied the sealant. Had to polish them again to remove it.

L333JSA
I thought so too. I've emailed the company I got it from to ask for my money back and complain. I think they would be less stained if I hadnt applied the sealant!!

Wash
I had my timing belt (along with tensioners), water pump, thermostat, drive belt and coolant changed yesterday/today. The old timing belt was off TDC by 2 teeth so the timing had been out for at least 100,000 miles. Before, the car seemed to almost misfire at certain RPM but now it's running perfect! It seems to run and idle a heck of a lot smoother too so I'm very pleased. Edited January 8, 2013 by Wash Blair and Lee131
Tomsk
Gave it a good motorway run, then checked oil and water; only to find that despite fitting a new genuine BMW expansion tank less than 6 months ago, the floating dipstick had disintegrated!!! Not happy as I need to know where most of it has gone, and it will mean another expansion tank to fix it!!! As soon as I find the receipt I'll be back to the parts guy!I suppose the saving grace is that whats left is so brittle it's likely to have dissolved!!! If its not one thing its another! Mumble, mutter, rant!
