Quiksilver_TR
Firstly, Hello to all, im new here. I have just purchased an E46 BMW 325 ci M Sport. I have made the moved from the world of french hatchbacks to the BMWs. Before this I had a couple of cars, one of which was a nearly 200bhp Throttle Bodied Peugeot 106 (1600 16v) which I have now broken for parts and sold to buy the BMW. The story: After a few months of looking for E36 M3s and being very dissapointed with the quality of them, rust, leaks, destroyed bolsters, lack of history, chavy sound system installs etc etc etc I decided to go for a newer BMW but drop the M3 idea for now. So on Saturday 19/11/2011 I drove to Slough to view a 2004 325 ci M Sport, only to be very dissapointed again. The advert said it was immaculate, the dealer said it was immaculate. We found it, covered in concrete dust and splash, the wheels were all curbed, the drivers side wing had rust, the rear drivers side quater had been resprayed by a blind man with no arms! Any way, we then drove to Milton Keynes to view a 2002 325 ci M Sport, and was impressed with it so bought it. 2002 BMW 325 ci M Sport Blue (not sure which blue, will try and find out when I clean it tomorrow properly) 18" MV2 Alloys, staggered widths Cruise Control A/C and automatic Climate control Traction Control (DSC) Black Leather Recent Tyres Recent Lower control arms Wheels have been refurbed Alpine Ipod Headunit (which I dont like) BMW M Sport Pedals Full Tool kit (need to check for the torch, lol!) FBMWSH (does need a service now though) Click this bar to view the full image. Drives like a dream and the noise of the 6pot is almost as addictive as Throttle Bodies. LOL! Quiksilver_TR
welcome another fine example any plans? No major plans at the moment. Coming from FWD hatches really I just need to get used to RWD. Have been looking at some strut braces and some badges to swap the original "325" badges off. But other than that, clean clean and more clean. Got tomorrow off to make a start on the detalling.

Daz 330 Cs
An "M" badge denotes M styling, but just looks very wrong slapped on the boot lid or front grill. Less is more

Less is more Id agree with the "less is more" Keep people guesing. All up for that considering the 106 I had still had the quiksilver decals on even though it was running nearly 200bhp! Quiksilver_TR
Little update of how things are going. Replaced the Tube elbow due to a split appearing and causing EML to come on. Easy but awkward job. Full Service completed. Thermostat replaced as the car wouldnt get warm when driving along. Nice easy job to complete, also replaced all the coolant following a cooling system flush. Gave the car a wash and wax for the second time this week. Also removed the badges from the rear to keep people guessing whats going on under the bonnet. LOL! alan53

Gaz, that was using the 18-55 kit lens but with a polarising filter. I've also got a fixed 50mm f1.8 and a USN IS 70-300 lens which I use for my track day pics. Gaz
Nice, I've used a 70-300 before and loved it. 200mm on that compared to 200mm on my 55-250 is like night and day. The 70-300 is so much sharper.
DanielJames
Looks nice, I like my french hatches too, I've had a Saxo VTS and a Clio 172 so far this year. The saxo was better
Quiksilver_TR
07/01/2012 Fitted new lower control arm bushes today. onlye cheap ones for now as I want to Polyrace it at some stage, so will use the old bush brackets to do this ready for when these wear out. Stops the brakes pulling to the side, stops the knocking, and it stops the random swerving and pulling it was doing. Easy little job, hardest part was pressing the new bush onto the wishbone. Rocket
Nice job. I wonder if it's the lower control arm bushes that need replacing on mine as it tram lines badly and skits about the road a lot!

Quiksilver_TR
20mm was what I thought after a measure yesterday. Just need to decide on how to drop it by now. Lol! (considering I planned not to modify this, I just can't help it though)
