Introducing The A6

Recommended Posts

Couple of things done this week...

Firstly I put on a thinner 3mm pinstripe on the front!

And secondly I fitted Semi-Dynamic modules for the rear indicators as well! Speeds adjusted... Not the real deal I know but not bad... [emoji106]

Hi everyone, not updated in a while due to work and family commitments but I've made a few changes recently!

A couple of day's ago I set about de-cluttering up the car a bit! Removed several decals and one of the red pinstripes on the rear valance, I also removed the red tyre writing.
I then fitted a very subtle roof spoiler!

Colour match and fitment were spot on!

I also fitted some Genuine Puddle lights and a new set of Audi Mats as old ones were a little tired.

Anyways I'll let the pics do the talking!

Thanks for looking [emoji106]68fe0d29a5fbe0b941e4e75e010d2d80.jpg874befdc7472150e723e45987e722a58.jpg46a24ec0d03e0669b14f7ab0c391b5d3.jpgacf0e05e5bdffd921d8d384b62d101ca.jpgbc756448f515f9a885cc4203b7f34ad0.jpgfff5e0055c06375e713caa302b791503.jpge6fd7dc4864daa2a7dc3734e9bc051bd.jpg9028fabf54bae0ae0438882517721d46.jpg59446469318a2af246abfdd1e90eae75.jpg986bd2cad1e594d6c820c0437e2cc00f.jpg59ff092abb66f430c6fdd896c549d6e2.jpg90de05cd7fdabf7b2279a64bd001293c.jpg7c207785dff37479048e04ae28714499.jpg9bf66cccb8395438d2f97300b5af5ad3.jpg

Not updated this thread in a while, but I've managed to fit Eibach spacers front and rear. Went with 20mm rear and 10mm front! I'm on standard suspension so quite happy with the way she sits now... [emoji106]

Not updated in a while as had other commitments. Not done much lately apart from X 4 new tyres (Uniroyal RainSports 3) hated the P-zeros so glad to get rid of them... Also had 4 wheel alignment done on a Hunter system and had new front hubs and bearings fitted! Drives spot on now and the tyres were a much needed improvement.. 964712136b8bbe83ae42a1630bb1f8df.jpg9500632c99982876b584cb035e0dbb70.jpgc0dc57a5b0c5d27eee6b8b8000b5f0c2.jpg6c48d7a5f77e439eb66ec38c98d32c93.jpgc21bbaadfc119604ce712c57aaa9d3e6.jpg4a0cd0f9cdbae7cf0f35dde77dcf3f73.jpgc85f26045eafe1e13e1e00b55e4cfc03.jpg926ba619c90d4aa709f613e40221593a.jpgc4460b767835c5a2fc6d7bcd2deba673.jpg

ive got another 2 sets of RS3 tyres in my shed ready to go on both my cars,,im frightened to try any other brand as the uniroyal are so good..especially in the wet and general poor conditions..i nearly tried khumo as the price band is similar and A rated wet grip and very good reviews on all the car forums(ku39) i think is the model..tad cheaper for the 255 rears id need. and the 225 are about the same..

Wholly recommend Vredestein Vorti next time around Aly.

From the reviews i've read of both tyres the URS3's can be quite soft and wear quickly. The Vreds are a harder compound so maybe not as good in the rain but brilliant in all other conditions.

Wear isn't an issue as I do little mileage besides the P-Zeros wore out in less than a year and cost double lol

My P-Zeros were almost double the cost of the RS3s. But was more interested in grip especially in the wet.. P-Zeros were okay in the dry but dreadful in everything else!

RWD Would be fun [emoji23]
So far I'm really happy with them.. Quite a few guys on the Audi Forums swear by them and have outlasted a few more expensive brands as well...

8k for a set of rears is pretty bad! lol.

I do about 4k a year so they'd last 2 years for me.. I normally get around 15-20k from a set of rears and double that for fronts..

i like to use my available torque ha ha not all the time though..

Don't forget i'm another mapped 330d owner!

May give the URS3's a look next time though. Gotta be special to convince me to change from Vreds though! Had Sessantas before and they were SUPERB!!
