[Fs] London - Gilera Runner Sp50 (2008)

Recommended Posts

White Gilera Runner SP50 (2008)

It has been a reliable commuter moped which has only been used to get me to work each day for the passed 4 years (5~6 miles each way). I bought the bike new from Steads in Romford and it has been a very reliable bike! The reason for sale is that I am almost 30 year old and require something a little bigger. I have always taken care of it to the best of my abilities and it’s never let me down. It has always been stored inside in the dry, either inside my house or my works underground car park.

The details are as follows:

  • Excellent overall condition
  • 1 Previous owner (me)
  • 1 Years MOT (expires 24/01/2013)
  • 1 Years Tax (expires 31/01/2013)
  • 9,300 miles
  • Full Service at 9,200 miles by E1 Motorcycles
  • Full Service at 5,939 miles by Steads (receipt)
  • Full Service at 2,541 miles by Steads (receipt)
  • New rear tyre (Installed 24/01/12)

The bike has some modifications which are as follows:

  • Fully derestricted (by Steads main dealer)
  • 70cc Athena big bore kit (Installed at 7,500 miles)
  • Malossi Kevlar drive belt (Installed at 7,500 miles)
  • Malossi 5 gram rollers (Installed at 7,500 miles)
  • Malossi black clutch springs (Installed at 7,500 miles)
  • Leo Vinci Exhaust (Installed from new)
  • I also have the standard exhaust available if needed

Any inspection is welcome although I would prefer you not to take it out for a test ride until I have full payment as I have no guarantee that you won’t just ride off with it. I am however, willing to provide a demonstration ride to put your mind at rest.

£1,000 ono

I just renewed and it was £103 for the year and £16 for road tax. Also around 80-90mpg.

Oh and also, if you passed your driving test before Feb 2001 you can ride this without doing a CBT (although it is advised that you do) :)
