Got my X5s back on yesterday/today, apologies for out of focus pics lol

Specs:

Front - 235/35/19, wheel is ET48, 15mm spacer gives ET33, 9J wide - Style 132 rim

Rear - 245/35/19, wheel is ET45, 10mm spacer gives ET35, 10J wide - Style 132 rim

Car is lowered on Eibach Sportlines with standard shocks

Slight rubbing over bumps, will phone Archenemy see what they recommend, possibly a small pull will be needed.

Rear tyres should ideally be 265/30/19 and I will be changing to these later in the year

2 x bolts cut down by 5mm to give 4 locking bolts all same, 2 x 10mm and 2 x 15mm

Things to finish it off:

Spray rear spacers silver

Fit new OEM centre caps

Refurbish wheels

Wrong choice going back to these.

These don't sit as well on the car. The wheels and the way it sits just looks too square. I think you need to adjust the camber and put some negative on it so that they sit better and would aid in the wheels not rubbing.

The front definitely needs it as it looks a fail at the moment.

They looks ok, but that's it. Needs to go lower to pull them off in my opinion.

CSL's made your car look absolutely perfect at that height, and even if you lowered more, I think the CSL's would look better.

Obviously that's just my opinion and if you like it that's all that matters! Just seems a bit backwards to me that's all.

i like the new wheels, i agree that it would look better lower just to stop the wheels looking like they poke too much, its nothing to do with the design or size, my ET20 17's needed the same treatment to get them to sit right.

Only thing i would question is the line about going up to a 265 tyre even though you are getting rubbing with 245, surely that would mean you'd need a lot of work to get the 265 to fit without rubbing at all. and the only reason to go for a 265 is that you feel its what the car 'should' have based on OEM specs, yet you'll happily put on wheels from a 4x4 that weigh a lot more than OEM spec, just seems a bit illogical. I've got no issue with putting heavy wheels on, but likewise i don't see that 245 tyre is an issue either, 265 is massively over tyred for 220bhp anyway. Modern hatches with similar power come with 225 or less and their fronts have to cope with delivering power and steering, i'd say stick with 245, get the arches sorted so you have no rubbing and enjoy it looking nice and fitting properly, and maybe lower the front a bit.

Out of interest how many mm of clearance have you got from the side skirt just behind the front arch to the floor?

Sorry but they don't look good IMO, the CSL's suited the car so much more

Got to agree, liked the csls. These look odd in my opinion

nice wheels but i think the old ones suited it better imo.

Nw guys, everyone has an opinion :)

Me likey. A lot, nice wheels ricky

Sent from my Quad Core ZX spectrum

Liked it on the Csl's and they really did suit the car but Tbh I prefer the x5's

Looks great Ricky!

Thanks guys :)

The CSLs do suit the car a bit better, but I still like these, and like the tigerclaws even more.

Ps. Get a new camera, that one's pap

Taken from phone camera lol

I quite like those but I think to pull them off even better it needs to be a bit lower...

Nope, would be too low to be used as a daily then

A few too many before & during pics IMO, but they do look well DK!

Thanks Aidan

Syxx, no probs, as I say everyone has their opinion, it's my car and personally I think they look great, will be even better when other little bits are sorted too

Nw Sam, thats just it, I like them which is why I have had them fitted again

Very nice ricky! Car looks tidy

Thanks Marc

They look a lot better than before Rick!!

I think it's JUST low enough to pull them off. To be fair you have something a bit more unique now and I know you'll be happier with it now!!

Thanks Ash, this is my thinking which is good :) and yep its more unique and definitely better now :D

Thanks :) as said though, wont be going lower

265/30/19 is the correct tyre according to willtheyfit.com, based on speedo accuracy.

Front cant be lowered as is only on Sportline springs

Don't know on the clearance would have to measure, why you ask ?

im scratching my head over this, why did you cut down 2 locking wheel bolts?

15mm spacers from and 10mm rear, the kits only come with 4 bolts and didnt want to spend an additional £30 and have 4 bolts of no use.
