daz031178
Hi all I know this isn't in the right place but I can't post there any how. Cheers Darren

alistair26
Agreed! The good ones that do come on go very quickly. It took me ages to find mine.
Jay.
You need the size? for what exactly? forgive me fellow touring drivers but if i had a saloon i wouldn't go to a tourer & think 'wow i've gained masses of space' unless its for a medium/small dog. daz031178
daz031178
And there jay you have hit the nail on the head. My Mrs just bought an f'in springer spaniel puppy. So looks like the 330i will be going up for sale and I will be leaving the zimmer club :-( Jay.
Jay.
Think a springer Spaniel will be ok tho mate! theyre a medium sized dog so stick with the brand
keep-3
I've been eyeing up tourer's too for the same reason amongst others and noticed the same! theres not many out there for sale but there does seems to be a lot more for sale if your happy for an automatic though. DJ Syxx
Very few tourers about for sale generally people keep and use them as they are a great tool. starkie7 and Ragamuffin
starkie7
Very few tourers about for sale generally people keep and use them as they are a great tool. Exactly. I wanted a manual 330d sport touring that had decent history and took an age to find. I'm on my 3rd E46 touring and can't find a better all round car for the money. cjohnson
I don't really need a touring at all. I'm only 21, I've got a kid on the way but a saloon would have done the job fine. I just prefer the look of the touring, and you don't see that many about that have been played with! Jay.
Jay.
Excactly, tourers are propper pimp! I had a a4 avant on coilies & 19" RS4's in black - looked mega! Much prefered it to a saloon Paddybrown23

Fullhouse
Have just brought one about 10 mins ago on EBay, just hope it turns up half decent, will update on new thread, needed the space for my wheel business so should hopefully be able to get at least 2 sets in the back with the seats flat. e46rob
Exactly. I wanted a manual 330d sport touring that had decent history and took an age to find. I'm on my 3rd E46 touring and can't find a better all round car for the money. I am having the same trouble finding a 330d loon sport with a manual box that isn't hundreds of miles away...cash waiting like bait on a line for a good bite
daz031178
Alpina B3 3.3 Tourer Now thats nice but high miles (in my head, but is that nothing to worry about?)
mjn
A little over 10k miles a year, as long as its been properly maintained, shouldn't have anything to worry about. Plus, its got leather heated seats, sat nav, and its exclusive, don't see many about. Edited March 15, 2013 by mjn
arry
Took me ages to find my 330d Tourer. I looked at ~9 I think before I bought mine - and even mine wasn't perfect when I got it, needed a bit of tidying and work.
B9SLJ
I think most tourings are bought by people who keep em long term as they are so good, ive had my 330d tourer nearly 4 years now. fair enough its had wear n tear items changed but its never let me down. Regular servicing and general maintenance is all they need, mines still running well at 189k.

Beezer
Took me ages to find my 330d Tourer. I looked at ~9 I think before I bought mine - and even mine wasn't perfect when I got it, needed a bit of tidying and work. I've just bought one too. I paid probably too much for it, but it's a real nice low-ish mileage manual. I've had to do some work to get it where it should be too & this is despite full service history from a bmw specialist garage. Latest problem is that it's running too cool. I've got a EGR Thermostat on order & hope it's that. If not, it's main thermostat. arry
nomis
Had mine 18 months and love it!!! Its done 164000 miles and runs perfect so dont let high miles put you off if its been looked after. In fact i have come to the conclusion that a high milage well looked after car is better than a low milage car thats hardly been run up to temp and been driven to and from the shops over pot holed streets instead of nice smooth motorways. My boy just about fits in the boot so you will have no problems with a springer CharlE46
