Yeah, very weird. I doubt it'll start tomortow, so I'll pop it on charge overnight. It's like preparing for i3 ownership! :D

I got the tyres, which has totally cured the tram lining, and ordered another bundle of parts from BMW including a pair of Z3 rear top mount re-enforcement plates. Those should be here on Friday.

If anyone want's a pair of Pirelli P7 cinturato's with about 6mm on them then let me know (205/55/16)

On some cars those drop links are a royal pain in the a**e, the BMW ones are pretty easy. On some french and Ford cars I have had to use heat and strong language as they had just corroded to hell, sometimes even that failed and the only way was to drill down the remains of the bolt until the nut was a pile of swarf on the floor... Or use a nut splitter but mine kept vanishing.

Changed the rear shocks and top mounts and what a job it was. Nothing difficult but quite slow progress.. Transporting a set of tyres the other day i was happy to have a touring, not today, someone has been at the off side one before (the noisey one) and broken some clips, so thats now nagging me. Why the outer seat bolster has been tampered with i dont know but all its clips are snapped...
No pictures as image shack has s#*t the bed.... It's back so here we go...

I got my car back today from BMW after they completed the bodywork (anti-corrosion warranty) and I'm thoroughly impressed with it.

The spot of rust/bubbling was about the size of a 50p coin, they sorted that out and painted pretty much the entire quarter panel and arch.

Another thing to mention, has anyone else ever seen fresh Sapphire Black before? I've always thought it was one of the more boring/dull colours but after seeing this fresh paint my mind has been changed

In the paperwork it says that there's a lifetime warranty for the work they carried out, I'll take another close read at it later just to be sure...

Removed the washer bottle, washed it out & cleaned the filters, refitted it all & filled with a different liquid which I'm lead to believe won't keep clogging the filters.

Ordered an Ecotune decat pipe, to be collected on our way back through Glasgow.

Washed, vacuumed & dusted ready for our break in Scotland next week. Was going to Iron-X as well, but I ran-out of daylight.

With just a decat, my 330d was 211 on the dyno, compared with 201bhp stock.

Changed both the thermostats and the brake pressure sensors. Car gets up to temp bloody fast now. Just in time for the winter .

How fast is "bloody fast"? Just wondering if mine is still taking too long.

It was up to 91 in an 8 minute journey to asda earlier. Not putting my foot down.

Hhmmmm........ 8mins. What distance would that be? I don't know where your gaff is in relation to Asda.

Surly the time traveled is more relevant than the distance in this instance? About 3 miles I would guess.
