What Have You Done To Your Car Today? Volume 2

Recommended Posts

ordered a new rear wiper arm for the touring and various fixings etc for the e28 as its now in bits. I think my local dealer must love it when I ring at 12:28 on a saturday and start asking for really obscure items for a 29 year old car!

Fitted the ac schnizter back on the car. Cost of 100 to fix the buckle and crack. Will be taking it to them for a full refurb in august.

Need to sell the bbs rs reps and buy some oem alloys. Looking at a square set up for winter.

After some 10 or 12 mm spacers too now. Don't know where to look.

Fitted 330 Intake manifold to my 328ci, with upgraded DISA, Throttle body adapter and renewed all the vacuum pipes that were perished :-) . Took some time to find the hidden bolt on block!! But a well worth while mod, it definitely pulls more from 4k to redline!!

Took my front wheels off. Scraped off all the old wheel weight foam and flaking paint around the spokes, then painted them up.

Does anyone know if the eBay side repeaters for facelift coupe are any good? Thinking about the 30 quid tinted ones :)

Started modding my e30 map light mirror to enable the lights to come on with the doors.

Final challenge: how to connect another wire to the aluminum mirror arm to complete the circuit

Cheers.

I didn't choose them they were on the car when I got them. They easily match the Michelin's for grip that are on the back so no worries [emoji14]

Ahh they're on the front that's not bad, when I had runways on the back of my old 330 I nearly span it 3-4 times

I had "Sunnys" on the rear of mine and some other crap on the front, replaced all for with Mich pilot 3's.. amazing tyre.

Tbh the Michelin's have let go on me a few times haha. I only do a couple thousand miles a year so a tyre is a tyre for me :)

Some scratches won't come out, as they're down to the primer.

Looks so nice. Reminds to get mine done. Stupid rain.

Started modding my e30 map light mirror to enable the lights to come on with the doors.

Is this because of the lack of light from the standard interior lights, Joe? If so, there is another solution!........
