TriggerFish
I'm blaming driving style too. The e30 has an lsd, so that could get very expensive! Ashley1995 and mjn
johnny330i
Cleaned EGR Attempted to clean inlet Fitted Swirl Flap Blanking Plugs Fitted Vortex Breather Filter Feels like a new car, have got power at least 500rpm lower down the rev range now Almost thought I'd buggered it up when I had no power, but I had forgotten to plug the MAP sensor back in INSP I is the next job, will probably have it done at the BMW specialists near me to keep the FSH. MangoMan
Late afternoon I decided to give my Headlights a bit of a polish as they were looking pretty badly marked and glazed to be honest. I used some Auto Glym Paint Renovator followed by Meguiars Cleaner Wax. I know there are other systems out there but I thought I would give it a try anyway with what I had... Not a 100% but certainly much better than they were! Just a shame I didn't take a 'before' photo..... Also as it was quite dark by the time I had cooled-off and had some tea I thought I would just take a quick snap of my new LED Sidelights once more. (Sorry, only with a Cellphone). Seeya.... MangoMan
Replaced the Cabin Filter with a new Carbon Activated one as the old one was pretty manky! Was just £7 from ECP. (I bought it when there was 30% off last week). http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/507110168 Surprisingly even though the two drains are quite big and short, one was blocked!!! Anyway, gave the area a good clean with warm soapy water - much better.... I think a lot of people omit changing these every year as they should be. mjn
Technically it wasn't me but some dopey tart next to me. And she is denying it was her, eventhough i saw her do it. And then refused to provide her details other than first name and mobile number. Not to worry, i have her mug on dashcam, her reg plate and will report her to police for failing to provide details. TriggerFish
Mot failed on leaky front shock absorbers. Luckily, ive a spare pair of shocks and springs in the boot that I'll swap over. Not too shabby for just under 250k miles!
ibrahimx2001
with all the spare parts you have lying around you can build an e30/e46 TriggerFish
TriggerFish
And it would be the worst car imaginable - built from old cast offs! While changing the front struts, I noticed I had a sticky/reluctant caliper on the front passenger side (hopefully reasonable for my crap MPG...) so I pulled the pads off (surprised they weren't an advisory tbh) and noticed they've got a nice big crack running through the middle of them. Off to EuroCarParts I go! This is just how I was hoping to spend my annual leave!

TriggerFish
Since replacing my missing front pad wear sensor yesterday, I finally have a warning light free dashboard! First time in about 18 months! (Stupid sensor wiring fell apart, and ECP sold me the wrong one, and I never bothered to remove the wheels to get the right one fitted, until I replaced the pads.) gaz-777
Renewed the insurance, well I say renewed but I had to find another insurer. Allianz who currently insure me are no longer selling car and house insurance directly to the public! Oh well another Batman Meetkat coming my way lol. Willse46
Had my rtabs and balljoints replaced this week as well as new rear arms. Ended up costing more than expected but car drives straight as a die. Then had an oil service today, as well as new gearbox oil and diff oil. Gear shift is now silky smooth. Running nice and sweet! But wallet has taken a battering 😂
