staggspeed
Thanks for the quick reply, looks like I will be buying a complete wheel then. A guy local to me said it would fit but would leave a small gap at the bottom and I was a bit dubious about that.
Trevor
What do you actually need..?
pablo
Im guessing you want to fit a sport trim to an SE wheel? might fit over the top but hard to know. you could always smooth over the gap in the SE trim with a little fibreglass to give the same effect but prob not worth the hassle. staggspeed
Hi Trev, its just that I have been offered a sport lower trim and thought you guys might know if it would fit.
Trevor
I see. You'd prefer a sport lower trim but are sticking with the SE wheel?
staggspeed
Yes trev thats it in a nutshell, I have gotten rid of the rest of the wooden trim in favour of piano black and think that lower trim would finish it of nicely. Trevor
There we go. If you'd just posted that at the beginning. :-) Is it genuine BMW piano black, with the metallic in it..? I've got an SE one.
staggspeed
No Trev, genuine piano black trim as you know is like the proverbial rocking horse poo, lol.
Trevor
That's a shame mate. :-( When I bought a full genuine piano black interior trim, it can from an SE but I have a sport SMG wheel so the steering wheel trim didn't fit. Never mind, I'll be selling them on when I've got round to painting my wood ones. I don't like the metallic. :-(
Rob_
I've got SE trim on an M Sport wheel? Admittedly it does leave a horrendous gap but, it does fit!

Rob_
Therefore it does not fit. Define 'fit'! It will sit in the exact same position as the original, but expose the inside of the wheel somewhat, where the two lower spokes separate. Happy, Blair!?
