What Wheels are left

Recommended Posts

I am stuck on wheels again, I know the following

MV1s/MV2s - OK but too plain for mods I have IMO

CSLs - been there and for me it would have to be genuine and they dont fit

LMs - no interest personally

X5s - too wide at the rear

ACS Type III - Bit meh for me so as a last resort perhaps

M3 - again would have to be OEM and wouldnt fit

E9X wheels - most have cracking problems and this would worry me

Cadus Tyres - too much dish

BMW 1M - too similar to CSLs and again would have to be genuine so wont fit

Style 191 - Not to my taste

Style 313 - dont suit E46 IMO

Style 95s - dont even come close to fitting

Style 67 - not to my taste

E60 Spider style - not to my taste

Style 216 - not to my taste

Style 162 - doesnt suit other mods IMO

Hamann HM2 - too much dish for me

Fake splits - not my thing

Inspiri ISR6 - not my sort of thing

BBS Style 5s - not suited to my car

M6 - would need to be genuine and wouldnt fit

Landrover mondials - not for me

Possible:

Hartge Classic - guy on here has some on a black coupe

I like BBS CHs

Inspiri alloys

Style 197

Style 230

Calibre GTR

BBS RC 303s

Momo Quantum

Basically I want:

19 inch

No stretch

No rubbing

Staggered

Genuine (no reps)

Rear concave (this is more a nice to have)

Ideally not with much dish as I dont have the inclanation to keep them clean

HELP !!!

I will update this as I go

Put the wheels you had on your car before when I told you they looked great. It was a few months ago, before you put the stupid X5 ones on.

Also I didn't think there were any 19" wheels that would fit the E46 on standard tyres with no faff?

Well what does suit the E46 in your opinion? Give us some styles to go off at least?

BTW - Most BMW Stylings look pap IMO.

191s? 8.5"/46 and 9"/51 f/r

Not for me, thanks for the suggestion

They actually look a whole lot better in the metal. I'll have a set on mine shortly (only while the MV1s get refurbed)

My arches are rolled so with that and the right offset/tyre there are lots of 19" wheels that fit

Mit were they similar to these ones

There are 4 listed in the main post - BBS CH, Inspiri, Hartge, ACS Type II

Plus also what I am looking for in the wheel in the main post

Oh Ricky you're as bad as Jay !

Just get a set of CSL reps like you had, they suit the car ;)

I think it through more than Jay does lol

I know but EVERYONE has them and I want something different, hence the topic, as you can see I am fussy LOL

Yep! Those. Your car never looked better than when you had those on. I reckon you should have stopped at that point and not bothered with the CSL boot or any of that other stuff you have planned. It was E46 nirvana!

Style 95's

Thanks but I've not got a hope of fitting them lol

They're available in 18's. I even had 17's on my 325 originally

Thanks for the kind words Mit but they were reps and very common, I like the E46 so dont wanna change it and as mine as not a typical one with the spec and leather etc I would like some non typical wheels

Standard E46 tyres wont fit on 19" wheels as they are either 18s or 17s IIRC ^_^
