Rob-
Goosed. Moving house is a nightmare. Especially from a first floor flat. Whenever I've wanted to get rid of an appliance in the past I just put it on its side and slid it down the stairs while regulating its speed with the power cord. Can't really do that when you want it to work when it gets to the ground floor.
mjn
BMW driver to the rescue. One of the GF's friends had a flat tyre, but he couldn't get the wheel off. All the bolts removed, but alloy corroded to hub.
Rob-
Swift kick to the top and bottom of the wheel ?

Rob-
First crack at plumbing. Didn't tighten it up enough on the first attempt, didn't want to crack the plastic inlet, as you can see by the spots of water lol. No leaks now though
Rob-
Watching the first series of Pawn Stars UK. Regal Pawn is only down the road a stretch from here. TriggerFish
http://petrolicious.com/which-of-these-5-classic-citroens-would-you-take-home I love Citroens! The BX or the M35 for me.
mjn
You wouldn't buy any them to drive. Doubt they'd make it a mile down the road! They're museum pieces really.
Sam
Saw one on the M40 the other day, looks very out of place in the pouring rain. It's meant to be in rural S.France!

Rob-
Rang the police before to report that someone had poured paint thinner on the car because it stunk of it this morning and the roof looked uncharacteristically clean. Turns out it wasn't thinner, something has gone catastrophically wrong under the bonnet and there's diesel all over the show. How it ended up on the roof I'll never know! lol

Rob-
The pipe from the high pressure fuel pump to injector 4 had popped off. The union nuts are only supposed to be single use so whoever last worked on the car has just nipped it back up instead of replacing the whole pipe. TriggerFish
I'm not far off that either with how bad the traffic was this morning! 40 minutes to do ~6 miles, ~5 of which should be at 70mph
mjn
Ever since petrol/diesel dropped below £1 / litre, the roads have become very busy.
TriggerFish
I blame buses. And the fact Oxford is terrible for traffic anyway.
mjn
Hardly any buses round my way. It's just sheer volume. Plus i'm quite close to the M25 so when that is f**ked, so are all the roads that intersect it.
Rob-
Regularly go fishing at this place. Was planning on going yesterday to wet a line but things got in the way. Quite glad I didn't go now. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3592473/Angler-dead-lake-fishing-trip-row-friends-ends-murder-investigation.html Edited May 17, 2016 by Rob-
Sam
What happened to this thread?! Just pootling along and saw a police car, went past (as well as 2 other) cars, blues came on and hoping it wasn't me (I was being good), pulled over to let way. It pulled the van behind me, then 2 armoured vans came hurtling the other way and pulled in next to it. Someone is in trouble I think!
