mike661
after finding my shifts requiring to much effort after fitting my SSK i got myself a Stormwerkes v1 gearknob which i can highly recommend even though they are very pricey they are worth it! was also sick of slipping about the place in my OEM msport seats so got a Sparco Rev and all required mountings from GSM.....well apparently all the mountings. was several nuts and bolts short even after being supplied with extra and being told it was everything i would need which was rather annoying to find out AFTER id pulled out the OEM seat. after getting some 12.9 grade hardware to mount up the OMP subframe, sliders and side mounts i went to install. the "car tailored" mounts where useless and i ended up having to drill out the hole on the subframe for them to line up. then having to grind the subframe slightly for the sliders to be able to slide! in sort i will never buy anything or recommend using OMP hardware. once all installed i sat clearly higher than normal, wasn't anywhere near to being inline with the wheel and had creaking from the sliders although the seat was awesome i hated the seating position and the noise from the sliders was really getting to me so i ordered some Driftworks sidemounts designed for the E46 and what a difference! seat fitted straight in with no mods needed. sat nice and low and perfectly Central to the wheel!! love the seats even more that im sat in a proper position that i like! in sort DONT BUY OMP HARDWARE buy driftworks stuff as it was £66 and my OMP stuff thats fit for the bin came to £
