E46 330ci Vert

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, completely new to this but thought I start my first thread.

I'm Luke and I have a E46 330ci convertible absolutely love it!! I brought it about 2 years ago have slowly started to make it look a bit more fresh so thought I would do a list of progress and some pics and hopefully get every ones opinion.

List of things done so far:

-Front grille replaced as was on the piss cause clips broke.

-BMW badges changed all over to black/white even steering wheel badge.

-Clear side repeaters as well as chrome bulbs.

-All front bulbs to ice blue xenon

-LED number plate bulbs.

-LED interior bulbs.

-Front indicator bulb to chrome (didn't like the orange look)

-Stubby ariel.

-LED rear lights (M3 look) and 3rd brake light to LED.

-New fresh rear number plate.

-New wipers

-Brought a hard top.

-Replaced drivers wing (rust bubble got really bad)

-Front bumper re-sprayed (paint was flaking)

-Had serviced and replaced anti freeze.

-Valve cover gasket replaced (had turned to plastic)

- Re-soldered wires in boot (black plastic tube) as some had broke so number plate lights did not work.

-Simota Induction kit fitted.

Things to do:

-Cades Tyrus 18"

-New discs and pads.

-Replace oil filter housing gasket.

-Replace anti roll bar links.

-Chrome/black grille

Cheers mate, yeah I love them makes so much difference, yeah there even deeper on the rear the tyres are 225/40/18 and 245/35/18 Nankang Sport NS-20.

Wana get some new brakes discs and pads any ideas on what's best without spending a fortune??

Thinking maybe some yellow fog lights as well quite like the look I've seen on others. But everyone keeps telling me not to any thoughts??

You can put on fronts 205 and 225/235 on rear giving a nice stretch looking and also helps you when you want to lower the car, I attach a photo to have a idea how is looking on mine.

I just changed my brakes with Pagid, and I'm satisfied.

I wanted the yellow fog lights as well, but didn't have time. I think is more important for you to like them than what others say, if you like them, then go for it!

Yeah nice! Think I'll prob do that abit later once these tyres need replacing, can't stop cleaning the bloody things hate seeing them get dirty haha.

Really need to clean up the calipers as well and get them painted cause that's really ruining the look of the new wheels.

Right Yellow fog lights it is!
