Alan_T
Hey guys, bought this a few months ago off a friend who wasn't using it. 2004 330CD sport, with 115k on the clock. All mine for £3000 It had been sat around for nearly a year, so was serviced, had to change a couple of broken springs and a drop link to get it through its MOT. Since then its had brake disks and pads all round, and the front callipers replaced, full paint correction, 15mm spacers on the rear, some black grills and an eonon system should be arriving next week. the future will involve a wheel refurb, they are scabby as hell right now and let the rest of the car down. An M3 interior will be on the cards too, either red or champagne. renew the suspension bushes, id like to lower it but undecided yet. anyway, conditions weren't great today for taking pictures but here are a couple to start with. bungers
You got a bargain there! I agree it's probably the best all round e46 model, but then I'm biased! Keep your eyes peeled in the for sale section soon as I'll be selling my heated M3 champagne interior soon. Shabaza and Alan_T
dooge
Very nice, manual or auto? If its manual thats a bargain! The finish on MV2s is pants, most of them look knackered now.
Alan_T
It's an auto, would have preferred the manual but it was too good a deal to turn down really. Let me know about the interior bungers! And all the red arrow pilots are good! That goes without saying Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Craig_09
Thats a bargain! I've got a 330cd manual and love it!! Don't forget to get the swirl flaps blanked if not already done!
Alan_T
And fitted. Much easier than I thought. Unfortunately I forgot to hook up the handbrake cable do the dvd player doesn't display at the moment. Everything else works spot on as far as I can tell! Craig_09
Check through the menu you should be able to toggle off he "handbrake" function so it works without the cable B0B

Alan_T
Thought I'd do a little review of the head unit now I've had it a few weeks. I paid £210 delivered, arrived from Hong Kong in five days with tracking. Looks speak for themselves, if you want something that looks like it came from bmw, then this has got to be one on your list. Sound quality, I'm by no means a sound guru, so as far as I'm concerned it's better than the standard unit that was in it, but by no means brilliant, the speakers are the weak point now though for sure. Features, Radio wash shocking, I could barely get a reception until I pulled the unit back out today and disconnected the blue wire attached to the aerial. This has improved it ten fold and is now as good as the bmw unit in previously. iPod and USB work well, I've just stuck them on shuffle and flick through tracks like I normally would, menu for them isn't fantastic, not easy to find specific songs etc. Bluetooth is great, connects to my phone as soon as it turns on, phone book is stored on the unit and I can answer/hang up from the steering wheel. Sound quality is more than useable. Sat nav, I'm just using the standard nav on it at the moment, works well enough, the menu isn't as nice to use as my tom tom, it just takes a little longer to work through etc, once you are on your way it's fine! DVD is good too, I'll eventually hook it up to the screens in the back as it will be great for the kids to not have to use headphones (my kids are young and headphones at their age are quite frankly a pain in the arse... The only thing I'm not happy with is the reflection from the screen during a bright sunny day, but I have no idea how I or they could make that better so it's not really a gripe as such. Overall I'm very happy and think it's well worth the £210 I paid for it! Alan. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Trevor
Screen glare is my only gripe too. I tried an anti glare screen protector. Didn't work.
Alan_T
The windows will be getting tinted at some point, hopefully that will help a little. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Looney325
Did you used to have a red e36 328 coupe years ago?
Alan_T
It was a 325, with gt spoiler and splitters? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Looney325
That's the one. I was (and still am) a member on e36coupe, I recognised your username. If you're e36 is anything to go by, this will be a peach

Alan_T
Finally got the wheels powder coated, Really tidied up the car. Next will be an interior update, picking something up tomorrow but it needs tidied up before it goes in, and it was another bargain too! L4nky808
Hey Alan, where did you get your black grills from? Were they a decent fit?
Alan_T
Straight from ebay mate, and no, they were a loose fit until I tweaked with them a bit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
