no issues with those offsets mate, i have 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 all ET35 lowered on sportlines with occasional rubbing, which you won't likely come across on 18's

Wheel diameter has nothing to do with it. If the tyres are too wide they'll rub. The op is asking what size ? I'm saying no wider than a 235/35.

The profile of the tyre should cause the 19's and the 18's to have roughly the same rolling circumference so if the tyres are too wide on the 19's, they'll be too wide on the 18's.

Sounds fine too me, i have 18" 8.5 et 22 and 9.5 et 27 with stretched tyres. slight bit of rubbing from mine so im having an arch roll.

The offsets your looking at though should be fine with the right choice in tyre size :thumbsup:
