I too have this saved in mine but the DAB version, hate the look of the aftermarket single stereo conversion and the standard head unit however you go about it is just rubbish.

They are hit and miss from what i have read but il take a punt on one in the new year, really want dab and to freshen up the car inside as the standard tape unit is getting no one laid haha.

I must be in the Xmas Spirit as I've just booked car in Thursday to have the springs fitted and even more exciting for the wheels to be refurbed at the wheel specialist.

Now all I have to do is decide what colour to go. I've always wanted anthracite in the past but always bottled it and gone stock silver. However, I'm really tempted to go with this or shadow chrome. Of course the latter would mean the Mrs would be none he wiser!

What are people's thoughts?!

Not a huge response on wheel sealant recommendations so I went ahead and bought some of this

Had a look on the net at wheel colour options and I think I'm going to go for anthracite like this

The front and side lights are smoked so makes sense to keep the car 'moody' looking!

Personally I wouldn't go with anthracite,  I had my style 32s done in anthracite and it made them look tiny, I would recommend going shadow chrome if you want the moody look.

I have the same decision to make soon, do I stay with hypersilver or shadow chrome!

And the icing on the cake

Before it was looking like it had done 150k!

And now it looks like new! Couldn't find a replacement lower trim so went ahead and exchanged for alacantara - Really happy other than the air bag doesn't fit as snug as before. Seems to be a gap the the top. We fitted it three times but couldn't get it to sit right [emoji17]

Having seen a recent thread on how much people spend on cars I thought it was about time to total up what I've spent so far.

Decided to clean to car before it goes in tomorrow for its wheel to be done...

It was pretty hanging due to it going to longleat Safari - will wouldn't normally go into the monkey enclosure but my 4yr old was desperate to go in...

The whole my mirror the monkey was sat on always looked liked it had been glued on and after a pulling it off I found what looked like a fossil!

Dropped the car off this morning at the wheel specialist and was told one of the rear alloys was cracked in two places so they wouldn't be able to repair and I was advised I put the spare on. Not really an option as I need to drive a lot over Xmas and don't fancy doing it on a spare. Not ideal and hope they can seal it ok but I've asked for them to put the original back on until I can find a replacement. Never had any problems with it letting out air so hopefully should be ok.

Long shot but anyone got a spare rear mv1 up for sale???

Picked the car up but could only grab a few pics as it was dark and peeing down!

Chap who did it hadn't done a set of mv1 in anthracite before but reckoned they look good - I happen to agree!

Been meaning to fit these couple of bits for a while but haven't had time.

First up was the bonnet badge.

Old

No grommets so someone had stuck down with doubled sided.

Cleaned and with new grommets in place
