Ive not driven the car in anger with the diff in yet, but even pulling out from a junction actually feels different [emoji106]

As for the pulley size, currently it's a 4" pulley(6psi), dropping 0.125" will gain about 1psi I've calculated. So a 3" pulley should be about 14psi.

Trouble now is to find a smaller belt, and a higher rated bypass valve as the current one is only rated to about 10psi. And then it'll need to be mapped, so not sure I'll get it all done this year. But I'll start gathering the parts required [emoji108]

yeah take time to bed the diff in bud, the more you drive the car, the more you will notice the difference.

Get measurements of the belt required and I will see what I can find for you, In regards the bypass valve, have you got any detailed images of its location and fitment? its another thing that I may be able to help with, even if its just locating some options for you. :)

Have looked into the boost increase in a bit more depth, at 14-16psi I should be up and possible over 450bhp, this will bring a whole heap more problems, things like clutch, head lifting etc

Going to source a MLS head gasket, nice and thick to lower compression a bit and fit some ARP head bolts [emoji106] hopefully this will all be done before August.

Today I installed a solid steering column bush, makes the car feel like it should, it's lost the vague, soft feel and is now much sharper, I'm very pleased.

Worth while up grade would you say?

Mine has got a bit of free play in the steering wheel.

Took me and hour n half inc jacking the car, you need to remove the alloy support bracket, then just undo the 2 torx head clamp bolts holding that part on, slide it up to release the bottom, then just pull down to remove.

Drill out the rivets on the rubber bush, then just bolt it all back up.

Remember to mark up the position accurately and you won't need to get the tracking done either.

Rev limit, a super charger won't flatten out because the revs just keep rising.

I'm up in Grimsby now as doing Cadwell park tomorrow and then down to Snetterton on Monday, I'll put up the graphs next week when I'm back home.

Has an epic weekend, covered just over 1000miles, including Cadwell park and Snetterton trackdays

And a quick pad change was needed at Snetterton before heading home, front EBC BLUESTUFF pads were almost down to the metal

Poor car is desperate for a wash now lol, no official pics from Snetterton yet, won't be uploaded for another 48 hours.

Haven't been keeping up with this recently, nice power! 15hp up on me at the same boost, I guess the cooler really helps. Don't like that lean spike up top though? I'm still jealous of your AFR plot (309hp run), convinced my tune needs work.

I'd be nervous about giving it 1 bar for track work..

Govich, you'll always get that lean spike at the end, as it just what happens when you hit the rev limiter and then let off the gas suddenly, the charger is still spinning and producing boost but the throttle butterfly is closed [emoji106]

The screen shot was corrected to the same conditions as the day I made 309bhp, wanted too see exactly the improvements just the smaller pulley only made.

These are the uncorrected graphs.

BHP at the wheels, Boost & AFR's

Pleased with the results, still think I can reach 400bhp on this set up, how long for we will see, ultimate goal is 500bhp, have always wanted to be in the +500 club. But for this it will need to be Turbo Charged.

As for yours compared to mine, or anyone else's for that matter, only real way to compare is to be on the same dyno on the same day, all figures are subjective so unless it's all done same day, same place it really is pointless.

For me it's the challenge of constant improvements [emoji106]

I always go back to the same dyno & have them also plot the relevant previous run. Hopefully we end up at the same dyno day soon! I've seen the lean spike at the top of dyno runs but never with the power still rising, didn't realise that was boost pressure & not power in your photo of the screen, oops! I'm still intrigued yours doesn't fall over at the top end like mine. I'll have to rummage through the posts to see if you're still on the factory exhaust & cats post-headers.

Our end goals are quite different, I'm going racing before long but in a lighter chassis, always intended the 330 as a sleeper street car & it's at a nice level for that. 500 is a lofty target, I agree you'll need a turbo & new internals.

Did you get your LSD in the shorter ratio ?

Agreed on the constant improvements & satisfaction that comes with them!

Cheers
