No problems in the uk, you still need to pass the MOT and inform the insurance company.

I have spoken with chiptune, looks like they can help.

Did a trackday at Snetterton yesterday, car was really great fun, did highlight a few handling issues, mainly the fact it's heavy lol

This footage is from a guy in a clio cup, fully stripped out, caged and on Toyo R888

I'm pleased with how I got on, considering I had the climate control keeping me cosy, was kicking back in my leather seats, and drove home in comfort using my cruise control [emoji106][emoji106]

The Clio ended up on a flat bed lol

How were the coolant and oil temps on the track? I've got the ESS VT1 kit coming and just thinking about whether I'll need to upgrade cooling capacity.

Edit; nice video! The car is leaning over quite a lot, I guess that's the tradeoff for the comfortable drive home. The guy in the Clio needs to learn to heel-toe/rev match on his downshifts.. and stay off the limiter.. and I preferred your lines through the corners. Lol

No idea on coolant and oil temps, it's all new cooling system, just OE, no issues though.

Going to get some H&R springs I think but that's it, I like it as a road car. I've got some onboard footage from my car to upload later.

So ordered up some EIBACH pro springs and Bilstein B4 shocks today.

Also starting to look into some cams as I think a harder revving engine will be good fun :)

Good choice! i run the Eibach Pro's with B4's on mine, very good combination imho!

B4's on, along with the PRO springs, new top mounts front and rear along with reinforcement plates, the ride is now really nice, so much less crashy.

Also popped in a 3.38 ratio diff.

Will pop up some pics once the height had settled, it's not much lower than standard but that's what I wanted.

Also popped in some genuine cup holders

The brakes weren't exactly a bargain, but are in keeping with my almost OE look.

Fronts £300 a pair.

Rears £200 a pair.

Forgot to take a picture of the rears though.

Also have had the cat less M52 manifolds fitted

Are the manifolds from a 328? What is the rest of the exhaust? What have you done with the four O2 sensors? Can you feel any difference between the old cat system and this system?

The 4 O2 sensors are in the exhaust, had 2x boss welded in, the M52 328i manifolds already have 1x boss in each manifold.

No EM light on after 80 miles of driving, they maybe mapped out anyway due to the supplied super charger map I'm not too sure.

The rest of the exhaust is just stock (except a stainless back box) and I've not noticed any real increase in noise.

The car certainly seems to pull harder at high RPM.

I'm hoping to get it back on the same dyno in a few months to see what/if any actual gains there have been.

What I did notice was a reduction in temps under the bonnet, after I park the car up in the garage I normally can feel a lot of heat radiating but upon opening the bonnet this time it wasn't anyway near as bad.

Thanks for the reply, have you used the 328i downpipes as the manifolds look loads shorter than the 330i ones and then I guess they bolt to the standard 330 exhaust

It would be good to see what if any difference it makes on a RR

Nice work on the manifolds, when i fitted mine i noticed that it pulled much harder from around 3500/4000rpm to the limit.

Kos has his dyno'd after and made about 10bhp, still n/a engine though mind!

i haven't got around to getting mine checked yet, but no EML at all and done a few thousand miles!

After fitting the M52 manifolds my after market back box was just too loud (was on car when I bought it)

Finally found a great condition stock rear and mid silencer and had it fitted today, much quieter now [emoji108]but doesn't look at good.

Looking for some advice guys, I love my car, spent a fortune getting it near how I wanted it.

I'm moving to a bigger house in a few days and have my first baby on the way :)

I'm in 2 minds too sell it on and buy a 135i or spent a few grand more on it to get closer to 400 BHP (intercooler, custom map, and more boost) plus an LSD !!!

The wife's 120d

Although fun will need to go too for a 320d touring so money is being stretched, I feel spending more on the clubby is a wise move ?

Saving the money would be wisest ;)

After all the hard work, I think youd regret patting with it. While lovely, anyone can have a 135I...

Not been upto much apart from the house move, but I'm off to the Nurburgring on the 15th for a week so see how the clubby holds together lol

I have finally managed to get the garage clear of all the moving boxes though, so pleased it's back hidden from the elements.

100% keep it. Failing that put it back to standard and sell it.

I imagine it would be very difficult to get good money for it as is. The majority of people would probably rather buy an M3 or similar.

FWIW I think you'll regret selling and going for a 135i. Like triggerfish said anyone can have one of those.

Last time around the ring I came in with a very noisy top end (oil too hot) and cooked brakes, hope it holds up ok with the charger!
