Kermitthefrog
Hey all, My Erisin is refusing to boot, the BMW logo is displaying but that's as far as it goes...any ideas? I pressed the reset button on the front of the unit, but no joy. I also disconnected the car battery but no difference either. Help!
dontpannic
You'll probably want to restore to factory settings and see if that helps. If you've got a reset button on the front, push and hold the power button and reset button at the same time. After 5 seconds, release the reset button but keep holding power. Once the "Android" boot logo appears immediately release the power button. It should boot into recovery, so from there scroll to the bottom option (backup/wipe/factory reset) using the volume knob, then push and hold the power button to select that option. Give it 5 mins and it should reboot as if it's just come out of the factory.

dontpannic
No worries matey That seems about similar to what mine took in stock form. Android does like to do a bit of optimization so it might get quicker, but I seem to remember mine taking about that long with the software it came with out of the box. I'm using a different ROM now and it's taking 15-20 seconds instead of the 30 - 35 it was taking as standard. Kermitthefrog
