H20E46
I took ownership of my first BMW 2 months ago - it's a e46 318ci Msport in sapphire black met (lower engine size for instance purposes & age 😩😂) - I was offered it at good price and couldn't say no. bought of a chap who owned the car for the best part of 4 years and maintained the car with no expenses spared (main factor as to why I bought it) - had 107,000 miles when I purchased it & now just hit 109,000. Come with all previous mots and service history mainly from BMW themselves and a few from independent specialists. ** PICTURES OF MY E46 SO FAR WITH SUBTLE CHANGES MADE ** 1) The evening the car was purchased 2) visit to Bm Parts Centre Ltd the following day. 3) Black leather interior getting pictured to be put up for sale - must say its probably the cleanest interior I've seen - the new owner was impressed with them 4) fatura leather interior picked up & ready to clean before fitting into the car. (Drivers seat needs some treatment) 5) new interior fitted 6) back to Bm parts centre to get the electric seats wired up Wiring completed & electric seats fully functioning. 7) error free LED number plate lights fitted 8) removing the damaged clubsport corner splitters & replacing with the new ones 9) Collecting my new 19" CSL wheels Mockup of the wheels against the car before dropping of for a refurb 10) Quick snow foam wash & wax Waxed 11) evening look with interior & exterior LED's lit 12) Number plate change 13) Quick photoshoot 14) mv3's coming off ready to be collected by the new owner & on go the mv1's (actually look good on the car) 15) rolling tray removed and replaced by cupholder & coin holder (prior to interior change) Unfortunately, I was involved in a non fault accident towards the end of September and have only just managed to purchase the car back from my insurance which means it's on road to recovery. On the plus side I have now located a Donar car in the same colour to switch the parts required onto my car. I have taken pictures following the aftermath of the accident. From the feedback provided by my local repairer and bmw specialist they've told me that I will require the following parts to be replaced: 1) Bonnet 2) Drivers headlight 3) Front Panel 4) Windscreen washer bottle 5) Front bumper 6 Drivers side wing Thankfully there was no structural damage to the car which means that it is a bolt on repair. The car is drivable and the performance of the car has not been affected by the accident in any way shape or form. As mentioned in my previous blog, I sourced a complete Donar car in the same colour code to use the parts from which means no paint job is required. 😃 - Taken away for assessment by insurance - Being recovered back from insurance repairers premises - Close up(s) of the impact The car is currently being repaired and should be ready for the end off this week. Stay tuned on further updates of the repair and any future changes. Thank you

H20E46
Had the guys over from Bm parts centre to carry out the repair work. Starting of by firstly removing the damaged body panels and inspecting the body of the car. The impact of the accident didn't go any further than the damage shown thankfully. i picked the refurbed CSL wheels yestueday and seeing as the AC Schnitzer's sold it meant I had to fit the csl's to the car. *** Pictures of the repair work *** - ready to be repaired - damaged panels in mid removal - panels now removed - close up of the structure - new bonnet and front panel fitted - bonnet aligned - drivers wing and headlight fitted & aligned - bumper and passengers light fitted - engine cover fitted - ready to be driven after 2 weeks of being in a sorry state. - damaged bonnet and front bumper - bumper skin - close up of damaged to the bumper After 7 long man hours spent by the guys from Bm parts centre my e46 is now roadworthy. Next plans are as follows: - fit the clubsport splitters to the new bumper - wire up the daytime running lights & to make them function with the key - give the car a thorough wash, dry & polish (as the parts taken off the Donar car were dirty). ----- STAY TUNED GUYS ----- Edited October 14, 2016 by H20E46 Pictures The Laird, TriggerFish and ibrahimx2001

H20E46
**U P D A T E** had a busy but productive weekend working on my e46 getting it to perfection after carrying out the repairs. work carried out: 1) popped into Bm parts centre to fit the splitters as I didn't have a trolley jack available. 2) while I was there, I removed the orange headlight bulbs and replaced them with White HID's. (Exactly how it was prior to the accident) **before:** **after: (passenger side with white bulb**) final look with changes (splitters and headlight bulbs) 3) seeing as the boot handle wasn't functioning, I removed the handle from my Donar car to replace it with the non-working handle. 4) noticed a rip in the bootlid lining, so also replaced that over from my Donar car. **before** **ready to be fitted** **after** 5) the front registration plate took a impact in the accident meaning it cracked so I had ordered new plates finished in carbon gel. To go with the plates I also ordered carbon finished plateholders to match the interior trims. **carbon number plate holders to match the interior trim** **Removed the cracked registration plate** **plate holder removed, area underneath cleaned ready for new plateholders to be fitted** **front number plate & holder fitted** **rear plateholders fitted** **number plate fitted** **evening look** feedback welcome? Thanks mate. It looks near enough how it was before the accident which was initially the plan anyway. More changes to follow hopefully in the coming weeks. I've just put a similar interior to yours into mine but in black and wanted to know if the backrest heats up aswell? On my old seat both backrest and base got hot on this seat only the base is hot
