mattkav
I know the compact isnt the most well liked e46 but i thought id put mine on here to try and show it off a little bit i picked it up for a fairly decent price a year or so ago it was bit rough around the edges needed little bits doing to it due to its age and mileage but it done me well so far (touch wood) Untitled by kavikazi, she came with the original lexus style rear lights but i couldnt stand them so i went for the facelift red light and imo looks soo much better Untitled by kavikazi, Untitled by kavikazi, i dont think the previous owner looked after it perticularly well as this was the state of the engine bay when i bought it looked like it had been through the sahara desert Untitled by kavikazi, on Flickr Done a few other things to it such as changing all 6 coils, the rear discs and pads also recently changed the ccv and rocker cover gasket as it was using oil for fun Untitled by kavikazi, on Flickr Untitled by kavikazi, on Flickr finally my mrs got me a awesome christmas present Untitled by kavikazi, on Flickr so hopefully in the next few weeks should be sat a tad lower so watch this space for updates thanks for reading
Brad smith
I had one of these was the 316ti. There not that well liked but I really love mine introduced me into bmw and showed me how good quality the build of bmws are. Performance was s**t but was a good little car. mattkav
Yours looks great mate, wish I had gone for a lighter colour as you can't see the msport kit as well. And what engine is in the 316 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

mattkav
finally got around t giving it a clean after winter and finally got around to changing the number plates as you can tell from previous pics they were well past their best i also deleted the front number plate plinth whilst i was at it as i wasnt a hug fan and it practically fell apart anyway. really tempted to run plateless as the bumper looks so good without a number plate . Bmw e46 compact by kavikazi, on Flickr Bmw e46 compact by kavikazi, on Flickr i changed the rear to a square one it wont be everyones cup of tea but i thin it makes the rear look a bit wider Bmw e46 compact by kavikazi, on Flickr hopefully will finally be on its coilovers in the next few weeks cant wait
mattkav
finally got the coilovers fitted to the compact figured id stick the bbs back on whilst i was at it totally transforms it in my opinion. not the best pics i admit and the car needs a damn good clean but it looks good to meE46coilovers by kavikazi, E46coilovers by kavikazi,E46coilovers by kavikazi,

Diablo944
Feeling left out. So heres mine 2002, but just fitted facelift tail lights as I (like the op) wasnt keen on the lexus look originals, just took me a few years to get around to changing them. Its running on 18 inch mv1s which are a total pain to keep clean, but I always liked the mv1 style. wheels are more athracite than silver (had them done years back as silver was a bit too jarring for me and I wanted Something subtly different. I have owned the car for a good while now. Unlike the haters (and there are many), I love the compacts look, but equally importantly the functionality too. It was the only bmw I wanted back when I bought it. Edited May 6, 2017 by Diablo944

kirkynut
I've always liked the E46 Compact. Nice wheels! I might be biased though as I have the same on my black saloon, albeit they're Dare's not genuine BBS. If I'd not got my little one I'd have got a 325ti myself if not a 330i saloon manual, which is what I should have got! Kirkynut
