suspension clonk

Recommended Posts

After 800 miles on Irish rural roads last summer - and a few thou since - one side of my rear suspension is making a clonking noise over small bumps - getting worse. Is this most likely a shock absorber bush?

Could be a few things from a broken spring to a worn bush, only way to tell is to get under the car and inspect the springs and use a lever bar on the arms to check the bushes and spherical bearings on the hubs.
