mjn
I think there is a little bit of personal preference involved, especially when it comes to toe.
dunk1
I found some alignment figures on E46 fanatics and cant post it but here are the numbers i've copied from it Front toe ------------ 14 minutes +/- 8 minutes Front camber ---- 43 minutes +/- 20 minutes Caster -------------- 5 degrees 47 minutes +/- 30 minutes Rear toe ------------ 16 minutes +/- 6 minutes Rear camber -----2 degrees 4 minutes +/- 15 minutes I had my car on a recommended 4 wheel alignment and dont get why their system says my rears are out and need adjusting My figures as follows Front toe ----------- 9 minutes total Front camber ---- 1 degree both sides Caster -------------- 5 degrees 47 minutes Rear toe ----------- 16 minutes total Rear Camber -- 1 degree 41 minutes, both sides the same I had the front toe adjusted as they were out and had worn the osf tyres outer edge but the rears tyre wear wise look pretty good so i left them alone, not sure if i was being conned out of a chunk of cash or if their machine has the right figures in it or are the figures i found wrong ?
