mtfazer
After 10 minutes spent searching through this site, I'm 100 percent sure I've diagnosed my freaky central locking behaviour as faulty relays on the GM5 module....(this seems like a great pool of knowledge and experience). I've a 2002 325i touring by the way. I have family working at an electronics company that specialise in circuit boards so having the new relays soldered on wont be an issue, my question is how many relays would I need to order....virtually all the videos online are for coupes and they seem to show two.....only found one with a Touring and his finger was pointing to four!! I didnt really want to pull the module until I was having it done,,,not just to look at it and then put it back. If anyone has a definitive answer, would be really appreciated.........otherwise I'll just get 4 and possibly have 2 spare for the next however many years...... dontpannic
One relay per door, presumably? Coupe - 2 doors, 2 relays Saloon/Touring - 4 doors, 4 relays
