frizz Posted November 13, 2019 Report Share Posted November 13, 2019 Hi I seem to be having a problem with the lights on my 2002 320td compact. About 3 months ago the ecu died on me so the garage sorted a replacement from the ecu doctor everything seemed fine for a couple of weeks then the passenger side side light lite up on the dash then it went out after a day or so then the drivers side would come on for abit then back to the passenger side and back and forth a few more times until it stayed on the passenger side so I changed the bulb and that lasted a few weeks then lite up on the dash again I hadn't got round to changing the bulb now both the drivers side and passenger side are lite up on the dash. I was in Halfords buying some bulbs for it today when I noticed they do free battery checks so I thought I would get mine done while I was stood talking to the guy after he had finished with the engine running all the brake lights lite up as if someone had the foot on the pedal for a few seconds then went out again I'm just wondering if anyone might know if all of this is connected Sorry for the long post Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kirkynut Posted November 17, 2019 Report Share Posted November 17, 2019 This is weird electrickery madness. In my experience that is caused by a bad earth or water ingress.
