h13vyy
Hi, i topped up my coolant today with a green coolant. The existing coolant was more of an orange colour. Someone then told me mixing coolant is not good and will lead to further issue. Is this the case? also, the coolant always seems to go low after 2-3 months but I don’t see any obvious drips anywhere. If mixing the coolant is not good then I would flush out the coolant and replace it with a BMW coolant but don’t want to be topping it up every 3 months. What is the best option to resolve this? E46Driver330Ci
The best option is to find the leak. It will rust all the non-aluminium metal parts. If it's leaking into the engine, then that's serious trouble. Look for rusts or white residue of dried coolant.
