Well, I'm sure most of you have noticed that the site got hacked over the weekend. Unfortuantly I was away on holiday and unable to do any work on the site. I did make some progress with the support, but I needed to edit passwords etc.
I have now updated some out of date software (which the hacker managed to obtain the password from!) and upgraded the forum too.
I hope this is the last of the hacks, I can't believe how sad some people are!
If you spot anything that is still not right, please let me or a mod know.

A few members have requested we have a similar feature to facebook, where members can 'like' a post. (mentioned here)
I have now enabled the 'like' system on the forum. Every member can use this facility and anyone who views the site (guests included) can see who has 'liked' what topic. Hopefully this may stop topics from getting 'spammed', but it also could be used as a tool to promote guides and helpful posts.
There are limits in place that mean you cannot like every topic, members have 30 likes a day, subscribers have 100. You are unable to 'like' your own post.
It is also possible to see what a user has 'like''d in their profile. Likes do not bump topics.
A friendly reminded to all, that any topic in the "for sale" area of the site is for adverts and buy/sell discussions ONLY.
Please refrain from posting anything else in these topics. No, GLWS, no "too much", only relevant posts regarding a potential deal or questions regarding the item.
