you cant buy these so i started making them

a clever box that fits securely into the armrest wall

hammer out that metal plate and slot this box into place

looks great when fitted

that plate comes out with a good whack of a hammer

this box is so simple to fit. remove the rear seats- takes 2 mins max, they just unclip. remove x2, 10mm nuts. then remove that plastic box in your ski hatch, thats 4 bolts, very easy. then slot my awesome box into place, put your seats back and turn the volume up. go from poor bmw sound to amazing bmw sound thanks to me. enjoy

this box is made from 18mm mdf, is fully silicone sealed and screwed together with speaker terminal.

let me know what you think about this box as the bmw speakers are poor, this box makes a huge difference.

here is my hand made, to measure 10 inch custom subwoofer box for the e46 convertible. the sound is amazing. i fitted a 300w kicker sub in mine and when its on loud it thumps the passenger seats and you cant have a chat with your passenger, its that loud. i love it. as far as i know no one makes these boxes. yes you can buy an 8 inch on ebay, but ive made the impossible a reality for all you e46 owners. this 10 inch box rocks!
