KSG
Just realised where I went wrong... I wiped the belt before I let it retract. Kind of stupid, but at the time I thought the main aim was to clean the crap off the belt (forgetting I had to lube the mechanism)

Psy
Sounds good as mine can be a little slow. Any reason why I shouldn't use WD40 though? Psy

Gaz
Cheers for this Chris. Was down in Bournemouth the other day and the seatbelt just stopped reeling back in. Got the 303 out the boot, gave a microfibre cloth a wipe then wiped the top of the seat belt. Ran it in and out a few times to lubricate the mechanism, and my seatbelts feels like new! It glides in so easily now. Will be doing this on the other 3 seatbelts tonight (make the most of the extra hour of light) as it's a 20 second job and makes them feel so smooth to pull out. mpm
Wheres the best place to order this 303 spray?
Gaz
I got mine from cleanyourcar.co.uk but I'm sure ebay would have it. Or google 303 and see where the dheapest you can get it is. It's all branded so whoever has the cheapest price, go for them
MILLER_102
i ended up having to replace my seatbelt today... tried this and it just wouldnt retract the belt at all...
Gaz
If it's not too late to cancel your order, I've got a spare drivers side seat belt mechanism sitting in my boot. Not sure if you did it online or not. RizlaChris

Max Davis
If your seatbelt is slow then you should get rid of it asap. Having it is really dangerous and can really harm you. You can break your back or even worse, die. You don't want that, don't you? Then you should get extra help. For example, get Posture Correctors from befit as a matter of caution. I think that it will be a nice safe measure that will save your life in time of great need. momo
