She didnt like it but i enjoyed it....when the bird got dragged out of the bed and down the hallway that was scary. That was some serious bite mark on her. I normally hate stuff like that but we went anyway To be honest the film scared the sh*t outta me, lol. Thought it could be real at first but obviously with laws there's no way real life footage of that nature would be sold to the cinemas Anyway the whole thing freaked me out and as it got worse through to the end of the film me and my mate would sigh everytme a night scene came up as we knew something would happen! The ending was the worst, never before have you probably seen three fully grown men grab each other at the end when she throws Micah at the camera, that really made me jump! lol So much it scared me I had to ring the missus after before I got into my car haha, she just took th p**s. Even the bird behind the till at the petrol station asked me if I was alright as apparently I looked quite "green"! So anyway took the missus to see it the night after, a few bits made her jump, but she didn't feel it was as scary as I thought it was....dammit! But on the way home, I was followin a ford cougar whose rear lights if anyone looks closesy looks horribly like devil eyes! Which gave me the geebies....and then just past that I overtook a truck and my missus spotted some writing on a dirty patch on the side which said "EDINA" in big fat letters.....that's what the ouija board said! Anagram of Diane, who that thing haunted before Kate....weird! Film has proper scared me since watching, feel nervous at home alone lol. Strangest thing about it is a few times me and the missus have woken up in the morning, and gone about our morning business and looked up and the loft hatch has been moved/slid over.... like in the film when they notice where that thing disappeared to after the talcum powder scene....this has happend to us on a few occasions where we've woken up and spotted it....not good! lol Anyway that's my 2p's worth. Btw if anyone has watched it on Pirate, it has a differet ending to the cinema version I believ, and the deleted scenes. I think there were originally 4 different endings, the pirate copy has the ending where katie goes downstairs, screams, micah runs downstairs, they both scream, it goes silent and then she comes back up alone covered in blood holding a knife and the police eventually come into the room and shoot her? As opposed to the cinema version where she appears out of nowhere and trows micah at the camera, sniffs his dead body then her face changes (had to look away at that bit both times!) and then lunges at the camera. Other versions I think were her friend comes round and finds them both dead, and another where she comes upstairs alone and slits her throat infront of the camera Good film though I think! The director made it in 7 days, took 8 people to do the film, the only two characters filmed the whole thing, it cost around $11, 000 to make...and it's already made 1.6 million dollars I think....what a profit! The director is now making another film named "Area 51", I think it may be the same strucure with the camera not sure, but it'll basically be about 3 teenagers who somehow sneak into Area 51 in America Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
