Gaz
My brother just rang and his 320ci has thrown up a warning light. Anyone on here know what it is? I know Mit will be along to say look in your book ( ) but we're both at work and can't find anything about it online. Cheers guys!

dizzeedazza
The same light came up on my old e46, turned out to be a pinhole in the rad. If your bro fills up the coolant and it comes back, check the header tank for cracks and if there are no cracks then new rad will be needed IMO

Gaz
Our roads are terrible in MK as you know! Full of pot holes! Great for spirited drives though with the roundabouts and lack of traffic lights. Each time I go down to visit the other halfs parents I love this road! http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&...a2411bff1127bb7 Very dangerous though. Each time we go we see new flowers placed there.

My guess would be that you would need a code reader for that, so a garage or good mobile mechanic. There's a guy near me who does this for 30. Or see if there's a zoner near you with a reader, Also I'm up for a zoner meet, never done 1 before

Mikey
If yours is a 2001 then follow the procedure below to reset the service indicator. RESETTING OIL SERVICE INDICATOR: After Mid-2000: You should not have to use the 20-pin DLC connector. You only need to hold the left odometer reset button while turning the key to position 1 (Accessory). Keep holding the button for 5 or so seconds until any of the following shows in the display: OIL SERVICE or INSPECTION with RESET or RE. Release the button and press it again for another 5 or so seconds until RESET or RE flash. While the display flashes, press the button one more time briefly. If done correctly, END SIA should show up for a few seconds. All done.
