How To - Create, Upload and share photos from Photobucket

Recommended Posts

It gets asked a lot, so I thought I'd make some tutorial videos on how to share photos from your Photobucket account on the forum. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Step 1 - Signing up to Photobucket

There's no talking on it ugene425. Everything you need to know should be pop up in the text boxes as you watch the video :) The only sound is a song I put along with it to give people something to listen to insetad of silence

Thanks Fishman :) I need to update the video for the latest website layout really as it's changed slightly since this video.

Ugene, When you copy the %7Boption%7D www.photobucket.com/whatever/blahblahblah/abc213.jpg %7Boption%7D, just post it straight in to your post. As long as you copy the one with those image tags around, it should show up when you click reply :)

It's loads easier to just have a public facebook album, upload photos to that, right click and get properties of the photo and copy the URL of the image...

It really isn't that difficult to post pic's on this forum!

Load a pic to Photobucket, when complete click on the "direct link" address, then click on the little green tree in the square above and paste that address.

Guys much easier just to use Photobuckets IMG code no need to do anything other than paste this way.

Guys - it's all well and good going in to photobucket, uploading YOUR images then copying the %7Boption%7D links.

But what if you are trying to post an image you found directly on google?

Previously I would just copy the link, click the forum %7Boption%7D tag, copy the link to the pop up box and Roberts your mothers brother.

Now there doesnt seem to be any way of doing that, I have no controls for font size/text etc nor any link for adding pics.

It's the same as it used to be. Do you not see any of the options (insert link, formatting etc...) above your reply box? It could be an issue with IE6.

Well, I did install IE6 (well, I uninstalled 7 and 8). I don't understand how you can browse the site like that! It's terrible! IE6 and IPBoard 3 really don't go well together.

IE6 is definitely your issue.
