Gaz
It gets asked a lot, so I thought I'd make some tutorial videos on how to share photos from your Photobucket account on the forum. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. Step 1 - Signing up to Photobucket Edited April 28, 2011 by Gaz

Gaz
There's no talking on it ugene425. Everything you need to know should be pop up in the text boxes as you watch the video The only sound is a song I put along with it to give people something to listen to insetad of silence Edited January 5, 2012 by Gaz

Gaz
Thanks Fishman I need to update the video for the latest website layout really as it's changed slightly since this video. Ugene, When you copy the www.photobucket.com/whatever/blahblahblah/abc213.jpg , just post it straight in to your post. As long as you copy the one with those image tags around, it should show up when you click reply
mit
It's loads easier to just have a public facebook album, upload photos to that, right click and get properties of the photo and copy the URL of the image...
DaveGT
It really isn't that difficult to post pic's on this forum! Load a pic to Photobucket, when complete click on the "direct link" address, then click on the little green tree in the square above and paste that address. john.med
If you've an iPhone or such like, photobucket has an app. Can take pic on the iOS device, upload it and copy the link to the forum. Free and works well. For years it was pretty much impossible

Matt_330CI
Guys - it's all well and good going in to photobucket, uploading YOUR images then copying the links. But what if you are trying to post an image you found directly on google? Previously I would just copy the link, click the forum tag, copy the link to the pop up box and Roberts your mothers brother. Now there doesnt seem to be any way of doing that, I have no controls for font size/text etc nor any link for adding pics.

Do you not see any of the options (insert link, formatting etc...) above your reply box? It could be an issue with IE6.
Matt_330CI
Nope, I dont have a single option Gaz! Even when I click the "more reply options" box below. All that gives me is the attach files, which I presume is not for putting picture links in?
Gaz
Nope. I'd guess it's as you're running IE6 and the forum software isn't compatable. I'll install IE6 and see if I get the same issue.
Matt_330CI
I'll try and log on to the laptop one night and see how different it is, dont install IE6 Gaz lol.
Gaz
Well, I did install IE6 (well, I uninstalled 7 and 8). I don't understand how you can browse the site like that! It's terrible! IE6 and IPBoard 3 really don't go well together. IE6 is definitely your issue.
Matt_330CI
I suspected as much. But they wont be giving any of us IE7+ any time soon because the idiots cant make our systems work easily with the newer versions
