Zim Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 So i posted last week about these wheels asking what they were etc , I have now been in contact with the seller and we have agreed to do a straight swap and meet up half way between the both of us, sounds good eh he's willing to swap those wheels in 19" for my rather ropey 17" Alpina reps which are in a sorry state.. But im starting to think theres something up ,, to be fair he has said they all need new tyres as none are legal. i have already made it clear that A,mine are reps B, there ropey (kerbed and badly painted) C, no centre caps.. D, budget tyres on the front and mismatched rears Although all have very good tread. So my worry is in short that maybe his wheels are buckled and he's not saying, they are cracked or nicked or something else unsavory. I know i shouldnt look a gift horse in the mouth and all that but something has me unsettled about the whole deal.. WWUD ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At the moment his current 19" wheels have bald tyres so for him to use them he's gonna have to spend £££. Zim Posted February 3, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2012 Just got back after the mandatory burger stop, but i think all is well as the guy still had them on his car when i got there and the car looked pretty tidy so i dont think they will be buggered..
