Sam
So add www. infront of it.
mit
So add www. infront of it. But the whole point is you say you have a rewrite in place, so he shouldn't need to add www. And I doubt whether he typed all of that URL and hit go, he surely clicked on a link? I get this message a lot from my phone, also on O2, but I've opted out of the transparent proxy. But then I am using Onavo Extend so I am using a different transparent proxy.
Sam
I get it, I'm saying to get around it. I'm looking into it.
Colossuss
I don't think the www. is a huge issue now, because of the homepage link being changed. People just won't land anywhere without the www. However it is important for go.e46zone.com

Frobius
Yeah I'm the same as Rory. I was getting it last night on both iPad and iPhone. Just saying that the website could not be found, www or not, following a link or typing it in. I'm on sky broadband if that makes any difference? GAZ 2617
Still happening. Any more ideas Sam? I realise that yours is working fine, but for the ones of us that regularly have error messages its a pain.

Schumacher
Been having an issue ever since I've been on here... Whenever I click on a link someone has posted in their thread / reply, the forum just screws up the link so I never know what anyone is linking to. Ebay links never work but when someone links to say an image on Photobucket, it's a bit hit and miss. For example, I clicked Jay's eBay link in this thread: http://www.e46zone.c...000k-hid-bulbs/ and end up with the following: But the link should read and open like this:

M3NXN
Been having an issue ever since I've been on here... Whenever I click on a link someone has posted in their thread / reply, the forum just screws up the link so I never know what anyone is linking to I find the only way to make links work is to right click and open them in a new tab, which then stops the forum from placing go. in front of the url. Or even quicker, set up your mouse wheel so that clicking it opens the link in a new tab
Quiksilver_TR
Touch wood I havent had the TalkTalk error in a week. Dont know if/what has been changed but its working at my end. :-)
mit
I had problems yesterday on my mobile, connected by wifi to the same router as my laptop which had no problems. Again it was a problem with go.e46zone.com links. Not sure what it could be as my phone hasn't got much in the way of troubleshooting tools. Sam
I have changed how the ebay links (etc) forward via go.e46zone.com, so this should now work. I am still arguing with my host about the www. not working sometimes. It's clearly a issue within the hosting, but they don't seem to give very good answers. mit
I reckon the www not working sometimes might be if they are using round robin dns for load balancing?
