My 330d Sport - Progress Thread

Recommended Posts

Yesterday i picked up this 2003 330d Sport and i'm really pleased with it to say the least. I didn't have to travel far for it either, only 19 miles from my house. I've already started fitting my Eonon unit along with a few other mods, pleanty more to come.

Not overly keen on the wheels, they are ok, but I'd be looking to replace them personally

Looks tidy though, get the inner boot lights replaced, makes a massive difference visually, done this on both of mine

That is one of the first things i have on the to do list, look horrible like that don't they. Will be selling wheels in due course and will be buying something more BMW specific

The Eurocarparts items are a near perfect match and if you use one of the many discount codes they are cheap as chips. Just makes the back end look so much fresher without the knackered old inners.

Wheels are not a top priority, but would look better on something different

looking tidy as said sort the boot lights asap (i have done the bulbs, new side repeaters and desperately need to change my inners also) will freshen it up no end

Cheers for all the comments,

Looks really nice mate. Maybe just have the wheels done in silver or something?

What mods have you got planned?

Plans so far are... Fit MV1's or MV2's, Decat Pipe, Remap, Suspension, Xenons and a few other little touches

Wheels arent so bad, nice to see something different

I would lose the tints personally

Swirl flaps been done ? (If applicable)

Whereabouts in Essex you based dude ?

No Swirl Flaps luckily!

Live in Saffron Walden mate, near Stansted Airport

How wide are your rears, may trade MV1's.

;)

nice car though. interior almost identical to mine!

Not to sure, will be taking the wheels off at one point so will find out. In regards to tyre size though, it has 245's on the rear, and 225's on the front

Ah other side of Essex to me lol

I would guess the rears are 9/9.5 wide judging by the way the tyre sits

Right, well its been a few weeks since i bought this so thought i would update with things i've done since buying it. First job i did was remove, strip and clean the rear inner tail lights...

Before...

After...

Then fitted my Eonon Unit...

Next up was the wheels. Not really to my taste so opted for some MV1's as replacements...

Shot with the aftermarkets...

And how it currently sits with the MV1's...

Needless to say, the wheels really do make a difference and really happy with the look. Apart from that, its just had a recent oil service and i'm ordering 40mm lowering springs next week. After that i will look into a remap. Will update when new suspension is fitted.
