Quiksilver_TR Posted February 18, 2014 Report Share Posted February 18, 2014 RC cars are awesome. I bought a 2nd hand TT01 back in the summer, replaced a load of parts and did a new bodyshell for it. Locked rear diff (still 4wd drive though) Rubber tyres as the plastic drift wheels it came with were pants Few anodised parts: steering arms, driveshafts, prop shaft Only used it about 3times so far. I got my shell 2nd hand off ebay with the mondeo and a pt cruiser. hpi do them but all m3s the coupes nowhere has in stock. Theyre a wide shell too. Awesome Awesome Awesome, been getting the itch to run a welder again for a while and Matsuri was the final straw, mines getting welded next year. hope to get it off the road over winter, weld in subframe strenghtening kit, strip it out, bucket seat, hyrdo, etc etc etc maybe some of these arches and some pokey rims.
