momo
^^ That's it!! Looks very clean! Awesome! And yes, almost certain it's the same as an E46 wheel. Does it have any flappy paddles or buttons for the gear change (not sure if E46 Autos do tbh)? Remap will be absolutely fine mate! Got mine done at around 80k and now on 128k and been fine (but manual g'box). I think on the earlier 184bhp engine you can map them to around 220bhp. But delete the EGR and get some swirl flap blanks fitted if it has them. Apart from that you should be good! Cannockwolf
Cannockwolf
no paddles at all on this wheel i was wondering about the egr and swirl flags as seen it mentioned many times on here but never understood what it is lol

das_flo
I think the owner might be a member on E36coupe. Plate rings a bell. My first job would be colour coding the mirrors. Cannockwolf
Cannockwolf
yes im definitely doing that, what about the middle trim though? it doesnt look that bad tbh, although the wing mirrors are unsightly
Ashley1995
If it was me and i was doing the mirrors, i would do the trim as well Cannockwolf
das_flo
I like the rub strips black personally, as it's OEM. Nice motor by the way, you must have some spacers and CSL's knocking around . Just a little bit of machine work to the centre bore needed! L4nky808
Personally I don't mind the door strips/bumper trim as it ties into the roof racks. I agree that the mirrors look unsightly though buddy. Car looks like a tidy buy, I'm a big fan of the E39 [emoji106] Cannockwolf
Cannockwolf
I actually really like the wheels, not looking to swap those, i know what you mean about the rub strips, they dont stick out horrible for me, ill think about it, but definately getting the wing mirrors done L4nky808

Shabaza
I had no issues with my torque converter, but thats the usual suspect in question for reasons against a remap. However if you are not tuning it and driving it within an inch of its life i think it'll be fine. looks tidy! I'm also a huge fan of the e39 - bonus that they are such great value Cannockwolf
momo
Yeah leave the rub strips as it'll mean you'll have to do the front/rear parking sensors too and that could get messy/expensive if you break them! Do the mirrors (maybe try to find tit silver M5 mirrors?) and leave the outside. L4nky808
Rob-
Can't get much better than a Volvo for a cheapish load lugger.. Going to have to disagree lol Shabaza, L4nky808, TOOM and 1 other

Rob-
I personally wouldn't remap one of these. The GM box is right on the limit of its torque rating with the standard map. There's a couple of preventative measures you can take to give it a better chance of surviving though. http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f91/e46-330d-auto-gearbox-failure-why-t94783/
Rich330ci
i wouldn't remap it either tbh, once you get the 330ci back you will have more then enough power to enjoy! just sit back and relax!! Cannockwolf

Cannockwolf
So the modding begins I have bought some dial rings, is it normal for an msport on a 530d touring not to have these already on? the 3 series did
