Chimp Choker
They are the names for the drivers and passengers door modules. You have to program the car to let it know they are installed. That's called adding to the VO

I own an e46 325ci 55 plate. It has electric memory seats and manual fold, electric adjusting wing mirrors. The nearside wing mirror dips to show the kerb when the car is in reverse. As far as I know, it's an original car but I'm getting confused based on the following: It seems to be a ribbon type, the adjustment switch base is blue - I've been told they may be incompatible or something? Images attached, I'd be grateful if you could shed light on any of this!
