Cunliffe1
Has anyone ever changed it from the boring grey cloth to a full change I want to put a cream leather interior and cream carpet anyone a idea on how hard it is to do I also want to change the roof lining to the black M sport one ( x reg saloon )
thesanchez
I've never done it but I can't imagine it's THAT hard. A pain though when you look around the car as you'll have to change the dash, kick plates, B pillar trim, arm rest, parcel shelf and the trim over the transmission tunnel and probably a few other things I've missed out. And as someone who has beige seats.....choose black because beige is a bit of a nightmare to keep clean. Cunliffe1
Cunliffe1
I wouldn't mind the cream look as the car is a nice red so thought it would go together might just be the seats and door cards see how they look
Jay.
Carpet is a pita. Have to remove the dash to do it properly, it's rassier just dying carpets black with something like auto smart midnight which I did before to a grey coupé with full grey interior when I fitted saddle brown leather. thesanchez
Is the rest of the interior trim black?
Cunliffe1
Well it's just the full grey, grey carpets seats cards etc
thesanchez
That's a shame. Black interior trim with beige seats and door cards looks great! I'm not so sure that grey and beige would look as good. It might just look a bit odd. Personally I'd go all in or maybe just change the cloth seats for grey leather? Did you re-colour the dash as well Jay, and if so, how much of a pain is that ? I'm thinking ahead about what to do to liven this up:
Olsrey
I changed my grey interior to black. Carpet is a pain to be honest, you either have to cut the front up under the centre console or take the heater box and matrix out as the carpet goes underneath that. I ended up just cutting it as close to the edges of the heater box as possible and you couldn't tell once the dash etc was back in. Mine already had black headlining but it can't be any worse than the carpet! If you're going to that trouble I'd also replace the floor grommets too as some of mine were damaged and letting water in. I also later found out all four of my door vapour seals were leaking too and made my new carpet all soggy lmao.

berts
ive done a headlining change with pillar covers etc it was quite easy really, hardest past was getting the roof lining in the car without bending it, i'm planning on doing a full change this month moving all my interior from old car to new car everything including dashboard
