whatcangowrong
As above I'm going to look at a 2000 330ci tomorrow (if the seller is available) everything sounds good about it apart from both front door are perished. Which i thought would be an easy fix but from what I've read their not cheap and a pain to fit! If they are just a bit on the 'dry side' could i bring them back to life with some rubber treatment, such as http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Einszett-Gummi-Pflege-Rubber-Care-Stick-100ml-/251422930485?_trksid=p2054897.l4275 ?? Or does it mean a replacment is needed ? Edited May 9, 2015 by whatcangowrong
DJ Syxx
depends on how bad they are got any pics?
Jim27
Budget around £500 for replacement, worst case. You may be able to glue them if they've split though (plenty of info already on here about that).

Ragamuffin
I was expecting something worse tbh. Not too bad for a 15 y/o car really. whatcangowrong
dooge
Can you not go second hand from a specialist breakers like Quarry Motors? I doubt they will charge anything near to £500... whatcangowrong
whatcangowrong
Yeah that's true dooge it could be worth a try, I'm going to speak to the guy today so I'll report back later !
whatcangowrong
Well I've spoke to the guy about the seals and it's more that they have come unstuck a bit than anything, which (from reading threads/stickys on here) is more than a common thing on the coupes... so looks like I've have to read through the 'door seal' tread and find out what glue works the best!! Jim27
I did my passenger side seal with Unibond Extreme almost 3 years ago. The seal was split from the top rear corner all the way down to within a few inches of the mirror! Glued it and taped it in place with electrical tape for 24hrs. 3 yrs later and it's still perfect whatcangowrong
