Pearler
2009 E92 coupe 325d Wheels have been balanced but vibration comes in at about 60mph. Feels like a wheel out of balance but it isn't that given I've had them all balanced. Fitter said wheels looked in good condition. What else could it be? It will be going back to the dealer but I'd really appreciate your views please, thanks
mjn
Just get the dealer to sort it. Could be a few things such as worn bushes, or a deformed tyre.
Pearler
Just get the dealer to sort it. Could be a few things such as worn bushes, or a deformed tyre. Dealer has agreed to inspection at a local BMW indy specialist for the vibration, and the low engine temp. With a view to seeing if a quote is acceptable to do do the job locally. we'll see... bennno2005
Could be a sticking caliper mate.Does it feel like your discs are warped too?
Pearler
Turned out to be a tyre out of shape Ben. No juddering on braking, thankfully. Basically in an ongoing battle with the crappy dealer ship called Peoplescar in Colindale, part of the VW Citygate franchise. DO NOT bother going there for a car. I thought given their status you would get treated well AFTER they've taken your money, not a f**king chance.
Wolf Larson
I had similar which turned out to be a sticking caliper, symptoms were the same as a wheel out of balance, but after taking it for a spin and touching each wheel noticed one was super hot, new caliper sorted it
